I was thinking of Elisabeth Elliott in the same terms. It’s so bizarre to see such a swing from extreme modesty to such over sexualization from the party who claims to be the epitome from Christian values. Also, the corresponding swing from modest wealth to the “golden age.”

Also, I believe this might help us put more pressure on the sleeping Rs who think pretending the crazy doesn’t exist excuses them. You set the Insta pot to zero minutes on high pressure and all it takes to cook them is for it to come to pressure And then you can use the mechanism to let the pressure out.

The other thing I love to do in my Insta pot is steam vegetables. Depending on the amount of vegetables, I put half to 3/4 of a cup of water in it and then one of those metal units that you would put in a regular pot on the stove and then vegetables.

I should say that you technically can open the lid when the unit is under pressure, but then it will blow and you will be burned.

There’s a valve that rises up as the unit builds pressure. You cannot open the lid until the pressure is gone and that valve is back down flush with the lid. You can use the release mechanism to let the air out but rice is better when you let the valve do its thing - takes ~20 minutes
