As the Foreign Secretary has stated, international law must apply to all. Hamas must face accountability for its actions on 7th October 2023. Equally, this Israeli Government must be held to account for its actions against Palestinian civilians.

Google Maps has updated its satellite images. The first picture here is of a part of Rafah, in the very south of the Gaza Strip - note the Bilal Mosque in the middle with its two domes - in August 2023. The second image is the same area this year.

Peter was well known in Waterhead, and I would often speak to residents who told me that Peter had been round to see them. My last memory of Peter was when he came on one of my MP doorknocks on a road off Littlemoor Lane, when a resident called out to Peter and ran to shake his hand.

Peter served as a local Councillor for Waterhead in my Oldham East & Saddleworth constituency between 2011 and 2024? He was also the Office Manager for the late Michael Meacher MP who I shared an office with before his death.

From the many conversations I've had with my Labour colleagues in Parliament, there is a consensus about the importance of setting out clear fiscal rules and getting the cost of borrowing down. The best way to address the cost of living is to get growth up and inflation down.
