Second deathwatch squad member done! Can you believe the new box doesn't have first founding chapters for the non-phobos/gravis armour marines? I had to dip into my bitz box

It's a wargame so the everyone wants to kill each other is inherent, and it has killer aesthetics and silly OTT lore. And I love painting the models

That's so kind of you to say!!! He was my crucible of champions hero in a campaign I ran earlier this year so I'm very fond of him

I decided if I'm gonna go in on the Armageddon box, I should make an effort to finish the Tomb World box. Deathwatch Sgt with maximum effort!

Action shots from my last game (first two from my friend). This was my first "real" win in 11e, maxed primary and did pretty well with the secondaries despite failing to kill that stompa for four rounds. Final score 90-83 to the necrons!

Of course! I copied Darren Latham's tutorials on Instagram (www.instagram.com/reel/CwIvCYO...) but it's incubi darkness, stippled black templar, stippled kalabite green, stippled mix of kalabite and sybarite green, then edge highlighted with sybarite and gauss blaster green.

I kind of want to run an all canoptek/cryptek list, just scarabs and spiders and reanimators and doomstalkers + crypteks with bodyguard warriors/immortals/macrocytes. Probably not very good but I love all the little bugs

010

liv.miniatures @debaser.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

So I've been updating my painted necrons to match the newer painted ones, and I only have one doomstalker left! Let me know if you think the touch ups are worth it!

I love the armageddon basilisk so much. One of the nicest models (at least in theory, I hate working with resin)

110

liv.miniatures @debaser.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

My Necrons took on my friend's beautifully painted Orks tonight, a close loss (81-90). His stompa tore through a lot of my army but once the void dragon came in it was destroyed and my doomstalkers made quick work of Ghaz + friends, but by then the lead was too great to catch up

0162

liv.miniatures @debaser.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

I hate playing with unpainted models, and while unfortunately I will still be bringing three wraiths (and two un-updated doomstalkers) to my game tonight, they will at least be led by a painted character now!

Finale of my 40k Raid and Ruin Campaign! A four player FFA with backstabbing and treachery! I got to use the "Parley" stratagem to trade command points for one opponent to target another, and then fled with 2/5 objectives. Unfortunately the Aeldari managed to snag the rest.

Great piece and something I didn't really pick up on (maybe not as blunt as it seems, or perhaps I am the blunt one). My wife asked after we saw it if it was potentially also reflecting on AI and the new wave of endless slop that is meaningless which I thought was an interesting take

The Dirge's wraithship limps through The Maelstrom, its corrupted pelorus emitting a terrible psychic scream into the Warp. Its endless ringing attracts the The Onanistic Lament warband. Lamenthal, devises a desperate plan to bait the Emperor’s Children’s ambush and break through to safety.

Pro tip: If you're running a 40k campaign for your friends, make them all fill out an after-action report that includes asking them for an MVP and why

spreadsheet showing answers to 'what unit was your MVP of the game?' 'Why were they the MVP?' and 'Any other notable events you want to record?'

Answers include: Galatus Pattern Dreadnought - They Ruled! Breaking through two walls in one turn, Kool-aid manning the guitar marine, Maulerfiend - Murderising everyone, lord exaltant useless in charge, Wraithguard that held out to the end - held out to the end, attempted to leave the field, tried to cover the jetbikes who also attempted it. Murdered 4 termies and a whole squad of interceptors, rangers doing a long bomb escape from the centre, only being run down by interceptors with a hail mary long bomb charge, and Strike squad - Killed Sean's warlord, only grey knight with above half health at the end, many grey knights lost their souls to D-scythes.
