i just wanted to add that galaxies colliding wont be the reason we go extinct. if we aren’t intergalactic by the time our sun goes super nova thats when we’ll go extinct.
we have been colliding with another galaxy this entire time and have been fine, search “sagittarius dwarf galaxy”
