Starters VJ Edgecombe and Adem Bona are among those playing key roles in their first postseason. But a full series against an experienced Celtics team with Finals potential is a different beast.

Edgecombe struggles in Games 1 and 3 of the Sixers' best-of-seven series against the Boston Celtics. He responded in Game 2 with 30 points and 10 rebounds.

Maxey finished with 29 points and closed out the Sixers' 111-97 win, while Edgecombe scored 20 of his 30 points in the first half. The team's renewed defensive effort was a difference maker in Game 2.

The Sixers will need to go back to the drawing board after a complete domination in Boston that saw the stars and defense struggle.

McCain was the Sixers' first-round draft pick last season, and quickly blossomed into an early NBA Rookie of the Year frontrunner before tearing his meniscus.
