Nice one 🙏 - nearly had a nightmare with that on the A side tho. There are two 'A's that I could highlight/bold. One is fine - the other spells out "Ass Ritual" 😆. Luckily I caught it just in time !!

John gave a fascinating talk today at The Folklore Centre in Todmorden and I picked up a copy of his latest book 'Magical Dispositions' - a wide ranging survey of esoteric, magical and supernatural beliefs encountered in the Calder Valley from prehistory to the present..

My new LP 'Northern Earth' shares its title with the long running magazine of the same name which was co-founded and edited by the Calderdale based historian and folklorist (and local legend) John Billingsley.

Been keeping tabs on The Thorn for a while now and the band never fails to bring a fresh take on UK/EU psych folk. This time the band tackles a cover of traditional French ballad “La Pernette” giving strong Trees / Pentangle / Fairport vibes to the tale of forbidden love bit.ly/3UvWx1e
