Also woah kind of related I've been seeing people who're trying out Metroid classics because of Ravenous and I couldn't be more happier to see them actually enjoy and get into the series that way hehe

040

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I mean if you count it, it IS technically exclusive to the psp, the gba is apparently just the definitive edition of that version (both the psp and gba versions are just remastered versions of the ps1 harvest moon game) with different script/text WWWW

010

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

After a quick dig I have learned its essentially kind of basically the same game no wonder HAHAHA

100

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Eyy psp one,, I still cant tell the difference sometimes since they reuse alotta assets for releases around the same time like the gba one WWW

100

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

NO THATS WHAT IM SAYING LIKE im advocating for ppl to try out the originals/the earlier installments of the series they like!! (I also loved harvest moon on the snes omg

100

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

rare Ketchy opinion on the timeline but gotta get it out there, I just feel strongly about this stuff mainly cause I do care about the history and background of games (even if I'm not the most knowledgeable the tism can only dig a hole so deep anyways try out the originals of the franchise you like

030

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Especially to see how far the series has come to evolve, seeing the insanity that they managed to pull off on such old hardware, pushing systems to their limits, especially gameplay wise, how the trend back then was make the most unique game compared to now where its usually the same old same old

130

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

call me old or retro but it's kind of disappointing not alotta people try to play the classics of the series before they make any comments on whether its bad or not for them especially simply because of how the game looks,, even if it's just for like an hour at most to test the waters

if he never gets used I might just sideline him into an NPC if ever in a campaign I'll run maybe who knows cause I really like him actually

000

Ketchy🍗( COMMS OPEN ) @deanisketchbook.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

unfortunate I doubt he'll see the light of day being played because I think he would only really work under a very specific campaign that revolves around a victorian era french revolution with civil war and politics and it takes place in a large city and in that city only
