Unfortunately, as a 1+12 owner, this is no longer the case. And they'll e dropping OxygenOS for ColourOS in coming months which is expected to be even more AI stuff. Then dropping any western support too.

Go on, doing the "nine animes" thing. I'd say for the most part I'm fairly basic, though I think I'm one of the few with Ouran on there and I ain't seen Flower Girl Angel (easily my first anime, we watched it at my grandmas before we knew Japan was even a thing. Pretty sure it was French anyway).

3D printed some of my colleagues a little name stand. Just built from an openscad template. Older colleague is absolutely wowed by it. The reaction would be as if I'd left a diamond brooch on her desk. Has ended up watching some 3d timelapses (which led to further questions like multi-spools).

Might be a UK/EU thing but for some years now our packages have come with basically a shipping label slapped on the regular box, and most instances you have to make a point of getting it in an amazon box with all the brown buffer paper.

In the UK at least we do two English subjects at GCSE (end of high school) and part of that includes literary analysis (my class did To Kill a Mockingbird) so I figure it's from something like that (some books even had story on one page and notes on the other).

FFIX has twin moons throughout, never really mentioned, until closer to the end when it's mentioned that the red one is from Terra and the blue the original Gaiain moon. I think XI is the last "that's no moon!" situation in the series. Rest just regular lunar objects for night scenes.

Curved and ultrawide monitors weren't really a thing then, so decent compromise with the monitors of the time. And you had fudging with fresnel lens to obscure the bezel to boot. (personally just did portrait for documents).

Got a new laptop last week. One of first games I installed is pushing 3 decades old. Heck FTL is also no spring chicken either and added that (was in news recently for its little update) (game choice is partly tied to me not being very good with laptop keyboard and pad for faster paced titles mind).
