Listening to the currently released reissue of "Flora" by Hiroshi Yoshimura. Originally recorded and completed in 1987 and first released on CD in 2006, three years after his passing in 2003. This work by Yoshimura also leaves me in awe. hiroshi-yoshimura.bandcamp.com/album/flora

Just recently had my regular check-up appointment with the acoustician. The new audiogram is here, nothing surprising: Continued increasing hearing loss (since childhood): "In the conventional medical sense, you are considered deaf". I'm still optimistic and fine 🦻🏻

How to read it. Severe / profound is technically deaf, tbh.
