- pools are night and day. Daggerheart has 2d10, GURPS has 3d6, and both of those make average rolls more likely - exceptional high and low rolls alike become rare, and PCs feel more consistently skilled. (Honorable mention: Panic at the Disco has attacks auto-hit, and you just roll for damage.)

A chart titled "Probability of Rolling a Specific Result", with an x-axis label of "Rice Roll Results" and y-axis of "Odds of Rolling (%)". The chart shows two lines.

A blue one representing 1d20 has equal odds of rolling every value between 1 and 20, each at 5%. It is in a straight line.

A red one representing 3d6 starts by showing low odds of a roll result of 3, at only 0.5%. Odds increase as the roll result does, peaking to show that both 10 and 11 have a 12.5% odds, before descending in a curve that mirrors its previous rise, ending with a roll result of 18 having 0.5% odds.

I'm warming up to tofu now that I have accepted it as its own thing, instead of treating it like pseudo-meat that can be marinated and thrown onto a hot pan like true meat. As always, thank God for "Just add x" seasoning/sauce packs.

A bowl of cubed tofu and ground meat mixed in with rice; there's a sauce clinging to the tofu and meat.

The bowl is on a wooden tabletop.

A package that reads "Chinese MaboTofu Sauce", with subtext reading "All you add is ground meat and tofu". The sauce is labeled as medium-hot

Newly discover load bearing comic has entered my soul. (Art by Puupiks, from their Twitter)

This comic is drawn anime style.

Top panel: A trio of girls in a classroom stand in front of a desk; two are pointing and laughing while one has her tongue stuck out. One of them holds a pickle-man keychain, and another holds a drawing of a girl drawn as a pickle, drawn in green colored pencil.

Bottom panel: The girl being pointed and laughed at (Pickle-chan) sits at her desk, blushing in embarrassment and holding a pickle plushie in hand. A green colored pencil sits on her desk.

A trio of panels at the top show Pickle-chan with her pickle plushy in hand: walking through a school hallways, then through the street, and finally arriving at her room at home. She becomes visibly more downcast and teary-eyed, and the plushy is absent in the third panel.

The fourth panel at the bottom shows her halfway through peeling a "Pickle forever!" poster off of her wall. The fifth panel shows her turned aside, with someone else in the house calling for her attention.

Pickle-chan opens the door to enter a different room in her house with a question mark over her head on the first panel. The second panel shows an older woman (likely her grandmother) waving to her with one hand, inviting her to sit at a table as she pulls the chair back with the other hand. The background shows jars of pickled on a counter and a family recipe for picked on a poster.

Panel three shows Pickle-chan about to sit at the table, and admiring the spread of pickle dishes set out on it: a plate of whole and sliced pickles, a toast with pickle slices on it, and a full jar of additional whole pickles. Her grandma carries a tray with a pair of filled teacups, and is about to put them on the table.

Panels four and five are a closeup of Pickle-chan eating the food, and panel six shows her happy smiling face (with crumbs on her cheeks).

Panel one shows Pickle-chan and her grandmother enjoying themselves at the table, sitting across from each other with the teacups and food still present.

Later in the evening in panel two, Pickle-chan sits at the desk in her room with her pajamas, pencil in hand and drawing something.

Panel three shows them putting the freshly drawn picture on the wall alongside others: those other pictures have a pickle and outer space theme.

The fifth panel reveals the newest drawing: Pickle-chan, a pickle with arms and legs, and Pickle-chan's grandma all holding hands side by side with hearts around them all.

Hell yeah, she's onto something. I think that's the same ballpark of ingredients as what Costco's marinated salmon fillets.

Box of "Morey's Marinated Wild Alaskan Salmon", in a pack or 6 fillets.

Load-bearing meme in my brain to keep me from going insane.

This image is a Tweet screenshot.

Screenname #RipBandz/User @LANDoCUH tweets: "Niggas when a video game aint got guns or a ball in it"

Accompanied by an image of Patric from SpongeBob SquarePants sleeping on a couch, mouth open and eyes closed.

Vintage Story has served as my current secondary reprieve from the horrors (first being ttrpgs) Behold, my humble abode. It will be improved from mere waddle and daub to something nicer once I get access to actual metal tools, and proper carpentry and stoneworking with it.

A game screenshot of Vintage Story. The POV faces the front of a simple one-level house made of wattle and daub and mixed roofing materials, including some red ceramic shingles. A crude door sits in the doorway, and some fencing occupies a block of space in the wall as an improvised window.

A game screenshot of Vintage Story. The POV is inside the same house as the previous picture, with the same wattle and daub interior walls as at the exterior - plus a vertical log up the middle of the rear wall. The ceiling is a mix of more logs and bales of dried grass.

The floor is a mix of cobblestone and grass, and reed chests, crocks of food, and fired clayworks rest on the ground. A bedroll lies partly out of frame in a corner.

Caption: Me and my friend, after running into 14 werewolves behind the waffle house dumpster

Image below: A drawing of two oreo style cookies lean back on a countertop, bearing stubby legs and arms.
On the left, one says "Boy, I am stuffed..."
A second similar cookie, thicker with more filling, says: "I'm double stuffed!!"

I think I've shown you Ruby before

Ruby, a red-haired humanoid with alligator traits: the brown skin at most of her body transitions to green at her knees and hands, and a large scaly tail sprouts from behind her. She faces the camera with a tongue-out expression.

A braided ponytail of her red hair descends down her front, and she wears jean shorts, leather boots, and a blue plaid button-up shirt that reveals her midriff; the ends are tied together as a pseudo-bra. Gold hoops hang from her ears, and a cowboy hat rests at her back hanging from a lanyard.

This is Eclipse! She's a half-oni trying her best to tamp down her ravenous urges and hang out with other humanoids. She's a mercenary or bodyguard by trade. Her favorite color is purple (same as her eyes)
