Funny side story on this one: Turns out it's ill-advised to ask /r/submarines how deep music played on the surface could be picked up by a sonar operator. Seems I have been placed on their list of suspected spies attempting to nab the latest US military submarine specs from Reddit comments. Oops! 🕵️‍♂️
