A beautiful video package to close a beautiful tribute show. Thank you to all involved in AEW, and love to PAC and his family during this time.

Crying once again. Not a single word was said during that Swerve Strickland & New Level segment, but seeing Austin Creed that emotional broke me. Lots of respect to Renee Paquette for having to the read the statement from PAC’s family.

I said earlier in week; I keep shaking my head every time I think about PAC because these past couple days make no sense. I wish this was all a bad dream. AEW is doing an amazing job, I have nothing but respect for their locker room and Tony Khan. I know none of this is easy.

It's not easy sitting through this show at all, but I want to. 🤼‍♀️

We may not know the people we watch regularly on TV on a personal level, but it's a completely natural emotion to be sad, and even cry, when particular people tragically pass because we're so used to seeing them. I knew of PAC since I was in high school and he was amazing then. 🖤🤍

My heart breaks for a second time this month. Pac was utmost professional and the one of the nicest human beings you’ll ever come across. It was an honor and a pleasure working together one final time last night. Be good to each other. 🖤

Being informed of this during Andy’s celebration of life was an unimaginable blow but being surrounded by friends is something that brought us even closer than we already were. Don’t take a day for granted. You just never know.

I still feel empty and understand. Such horrible and sad news to wake up to about PAC earlier. I loved watching him, have done for almost 20 years. I just watched him live the night before and he looked like his usual self; he looked great. Nothing but love to his family and friends. Love to all.

Following Steve Borden's development is what I'm honestly most interested in with wrestling at the moment, so it's unfortunate to hear about his injury. I'm glad to hear he's awake and alert. I didn't like what I saw. He's looked very impressive.

I like Hangman Page being outside of the main event picture going forward. Kind of reminds me of his days in ROH and NJPW.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Just watched CM Punk’s promo from the pre-show, he was great. To do all that on the fly will always be impressive, even for someone like him at this stage of his career. He went after everyone, including Randy’s mum lol. He put Oba over while calling him out, I liked that.

I don’t think Willow Nightingale should lose to Mercedes Mone at All In, it works out better for both women that way too. There’s still time for Mercedes to win the title at some point, but not right now. There’s still a month left, but it feels like this is Willow’s time.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Nothing topped the Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone segment. Highlight of the show. Willow was fantastic.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Yeah, this tag team match has been hot. CM Punk vs Sami Zayn vs Cody Rhodes vs GUNTHER needs to happen at some point.

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

Those “CM Punk” chants were aggressively loud. He also looks more like Jon Hamm, aha. Somebody out there should cast them in a movie.

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

This is very good, to be fair. I have no faith in the people booking these shows, but this kind of kind of match should be a wake up call for them to do more with their tag team division. 🤼‍♀️

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

I remember when this Fraxiom tag team was in "tag team of the year" conversations just 2 years ago. Now look at them. Rebuild the shitty tag team divisions on both brands by merging them.

I'm so glad Willow Nightingale wasn't out for as long as I feared she would after she vacated her TBS Title. She'll FINALLY have a noteworthy singles match at AEW All In, which she should've had in 2023 against Kris Statlander. I'll always be bitter about that, especially because I was there.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

If only TV main events could deliver in that way multiple times each week like CM Punk vs Sami Zayn, and Kenny Omega vs MJF just did.

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

The sweatier MJF gets during a match, the thinner the front of his hair appears. I understand why he slicks it back now.

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

That announcer table is way too close to the ring and I just got flashbacks to Eddie Kingston‘s leg injury when Kenny Omega just hit it.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Willow Nightingale looks amazing and water is wet.

What difference CM Punk makes to your weekly program when he's on the show, especially when he's wrestling. He makes things better. He and Sami Zayn tore it up, they have really great chemistry. I'll gladly watch them go at it again.

Maya World will be *the one* sooner than later if she continues shining as much as she has against vets who are the best wrestlers in the world. Mercedes Mone is exactly who she is, and anyone still trying to be dimissive of how great she is are just embarrassing themselves.

Will Ospreay definitely wasn't supposed to trip backwards into the tub, aha.

That f-bomb from Swerve Strickland felt like a necessary one, which is rare in wrestling because they usually feels forced when they're used in wrestling.

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Hazuki and Mercedes Mone had yet another great match against each other. I loved the submission transitions and counters througout. Best match this week.

Home now. This is a very different looking venue on AEW Dynamite, it looks like theatre. I like it.

I miss Test a lot, I was always a fan of him. It's funny hearing stories about him being a pain sometimes and difficult to work with at first. I'm watching an old Bobby Lashley shoot interview and he told a story about him being difficult and thought they would eventually fight in ECW.

It gets to a point where people seriously have to realise how weird they come across when it comes to anything related to CM Punk. Guy has been quiet for over a month and look how they've spiralled out of control and created all kinds of rumours. They're so desperate for drama. It's not normal.

Shane Taylor always makes the most out of these spots whenever he's given them. I remember he and Jon Moxley had a good match about two years ago, and with Hangman Page.

I think it's time for Ricky Saints to have more in-ring promo time. Balance it out with the amount of ring time he's been having over the past month. That's his bread and butter, so let him show it.

000

Carl @deadeditors.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Great stuff from AEW to slowly adding different indie promotions on their MyAEW streaming service. This will be the second one now. It was cool when Tony was platforming a number of indie talents on AEW Dark during the COVID era, that was my favourite thing about the show.

Kevin Knight vs Mike Bailey has been brilliant. I wasn’t a supporter of Kevin possibly joining Don Callis family, but he’ll undoubtedly have even more focus on him at the upper end of future cards going forward.
