I've been in the mines learning more about face rigging. I'm now mixing bone and shapekey controls together. They both seem to have their uses. Shapekeys take bit longer to make but they also give you bit cleaner results. #vrchat #wip #booth

Got the eye rig to work as well I'm really happy how it turned out. I do have a shrinkwrap modifier on the head to help the shape but it can be turned off for more extreme shapes. Next i'll work on some arkit shapes for face tracking. #vrchat #wip #b3d

Sadly the Rigify eye setup didn't quite work so i'm using experimental chains instead. They seem to do the work decently but i still need to tweak the weights a bit.👁️ #vrchat #b3d #wip

Rigging got hands! I was not able to figure IK/FK snapping. Which i almost feel like is a crucial part of rigs for animation? I might look into rig addons again and see what suits my workflow. I'm still very happy i made a rig from scratch because i learned some good info.
