old photo from my unfinished mod project - Dragon's Heaven is an unreleased Neo Geo game by Face from 1996, cancelled before it could be finished. The dumped prototype references a lot of fix layer data which is long gone, so i grabbed Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer's Fix ROM data and used that as a base

man i hope any prototypes of Oni find their way online someday, so much got scrapped from the final game that i wanna see what else was there. at least we have the source code for Oni which is nice

ngl the SNES/SFC overall is a nicely designed system but the audio subsection is an engineering marvel. punches well above its weight for something made for a game console from 1990, can actually produce high quality music in the right hands
