I'm confused. Why are so many leftists so upset that SNAP payments and govt employee paychecks are going to resume, ensuring people have enough money to eat? I thought that's what they wanted. It's almost like that's not what they wanted at all and only pretended to care about people "starving."

I'm an advocate for following the rules in order to keep a license. ABC/Disney has a duty to ensure that the information it is broadcasting to the public is true and accurate. It's a requirement in order to maintain a license with the FCC as a broadcast network.

As for choosing Trump, I will always choose the most conservative candidate with the best chance of winning & defeating liberalism. As the old saying goes: "If you're young and you're not liberal, you have no heart. When you're older, if you're not a conservative, you have no brain." (Paraphrasing)

I used to be a Democrat voter until liberalism completely consumed the party and went too far left. 2016 was the first time I entertained voting republican. In 2020, I was thrilled that Gabbard had the potential of returning some sanity to dems. But liberalism pushed her out too.

I used to be a Democrat until I caught them lying to me far too many times. Now I'm unaffiliated and watch them all like a hawk, and the Democrats still lie far more often than any other party.

With that said, Vance will have to earn my support like any other candidate. And so far, he's doing a pretty good job in gaining it. But there's still a lot of time left. Reality is that the majority supports him making his victory very likely despite my support or not.

I never throw my support behind a politician for more than 1 election cycle at a time. No politician has my total support throughout their term either. 2016, I pulled for Cruz. 2020, I pulled for Gabbard. 2024, I pulled for DeSantis. Trump ended up being the best option in the end each time.

You do realize that if (and it's a big "if") you succeed in removing Trump, that Vance will then become president and can serve for 2 years without an election, and then can run for two consecutive terms afterwards, potentially allowing him to serve as president for 10 consecutive years, right?
