Yup! Those with secondary employer plans after retirement have it way better. When I divorced my ex—after 20 yrs I got 1/2 the pension but none of the retirement medical—the new Mrs. gets that!😉

After all the years of promised Medicare, I could NOT afford to take straight Medicare—couldn’t afford the add-on Drug & Medigap Plans! Even if I could afford it—those both go up every year by age! I’m stuck with an HMO Medicare Advantage Plan—quality of care is not even close to real Medicare! 😢

People should really be taking global warming more seriously! The beaches are gone in many CA locations: more than not of the homes are red tagged! These homes had tons of sand between them and the ocean-not anymore! I know these people are wealthy—but it’s just the beginning!🫣🤯

😂🤣😂 Yesterday the daughter and some HS friends went to the Huntington Beach air show—I assumed a later return to pick up her pups, than 7pm (lot of restaurants/bars there, lol)! The heat and extra decades had taken a toll—all were home early & texting all evening about their exhaustion!🤣

Those who started school before 1980–and never had the mumps, should ask your doctor about an MMR vaxx. SDSU shows a decline in herd immunity—prob due to childhood vaxx avoidance. Mumps is easily spread in the community; seniors risk encephalitis, loss of hearing, and worse, if infected.

Today in Orange County, SoCal, only 10 miles from the beach—we hit 104 degrees today! It’s still 88 degrees at almost 8:30pm! Our extreme heat conditions last until 10/8! Oh and we have evacuation orders in place for Santa Clarita, LA Co., due to a 100 acre fire! Global warming is NOT a hoax!😭😭

Uhmm, my MOM never owned a dryer.🫣 I still have clothesline skills!!! Even though the HOA governing my neighbor expressly forbids clotheslines!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sun is the best bleach! The outdoor elements make deodorizing chemicals unnecessary! I LOVE the sound of crisp sheets, snapping in the breeze! 💖

Our ancestors gathered fruits/vegetables together to feed their kids, washed clothes together at the water source—we evolved to work as we chatted with people who cared about us. As a child, the moms got together for a portion of every weekday—good for our moms, good for us kids! It felt safe!💖
