I personally think nobody should be able to contribute to a candidate that won't directly represent them. I shouldn't be able to influence an election in Texas or Alabama and neither should Elon.

Also, I’m angry, but I’m not alone. I went to a protest last week in Ithaca, NY. The protest wasn’t about trump, but when somebody started chanting “Fuck Donald Trump”, the whole crowd joined in very enthusiastically for a sustained period. We’re just surviving ‘til midterms.

I struggle to understand it. I know I’m angry enough. It’s not like we are separated from the right wing in any way but philosophically, politically, and morally, though. We live in the same neighborhoods and work in the same workplaces. The right wing is just fcking brainwashed.

Everyday, I'm baffled as to why we are not in a civil war over maga's rejection of our constitution. I feel the weight of the Declaration of Independence, the duty to throw out the despots. We're too tolerant. For instance, we all watched McConnell stack the court, but did nothing.
