1/ That is not the question. The question remains: who keeps the territory of Ukraine? The Russians or the Ukrainians? We signed the Belgrade Treaty, agreeing to protect the territory of Ukraine, militarily. So did the Russians. In exchange, the Ukrainians agreed to give up their nuclear weapons.

2/ trust funds during the past 40 years. Now that the time to “pay back” those funds, people are resistant. The opinion is that this is “stealing”. I agree. The taxes for these trust funds are owed. They should not be challenged. Stop whining. Raise taxes. Pay the money back. Easy peasy.

1/ I differ a this issue a bit. The debt, and its interest are a result of defense spending that we spent, but did not raise tax rates to collect the needed money. If you track the SS and Medicaid trust funds, the government has collected more than it spent for decades, even “borrowing” from those

My high concern is a just disposition. It is apparent the current law enforces deportation, the best justice is an award of citizenship. It’s all civil, not criminal, so judgement can be curtailed towards a merciful sentence. How about a civil fine, with a judgement not as a resident, but a citizen?

The conflict I have differs the current law and the results of real justice. I’m thinking enforcement of deportation isn’t just. It’s also unjust to ignore current law, which provided DACA protection, but no commitment to a pathway from resident to citizen. A civil fine, but an invoke of citizen?

It’s been interesting the complete disregard for current employment civil service laws regarding government employment. Long term, government employees have taken reduced pay for the same skill set, compared to company hires. It was a trade off for long term stability and retention. Just saying.

I’m unsure how to feel about this story. Conflicted centrist. Apparently, illegally here and should lawfully be deported. But, also a good citizen and contributing member of US society. I’m not a judge, but sense both sides, so where is the justice within this dilemma? How far?? Be fair!!

True. Privacy is for intimate family principles and facts. Once one make such things public, that privacy is removed. This includes items one should disclose when standing for office, in review, to be appointed to a public office. Let’s be fair, you want a vote, disclose all your stuff. Fair?
