I’m blown away by your remix! And the video is the icing on the cake.

You need to see this amazing lyric video @verncarson.com made for his remix of Delinquent!

The video is so amazing! The glitchy lyrics bouncing around look so cool!

Congrats to @dcx9000.bsky.social on the release of her debut album. I produced, and did the mix and master, as well as played guitar on a track. Please take a listen, you’ll really enjoy it!

The music is delightful too! Been following @dcx9000.bsky.social's music for a while, and I'm so stoked there's finally a full-length after such a nice string of introductory singles.

Aww thanks, I wanted that retro futurism feel.

EVERY SONG ON THIS ALBUM WAS BORN FROM A DIFFERENT CHAPTER OF THE SAME STORY. WRITTEN OVER THE COURSE OF SEVERAL YEARS, THESE SONGS BECAME A WAY TO NAVIGATE THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF LOVE, LOSS, HOPE, DISAPPOINTMENT, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. SOME MEMORIES FADED WITH TIME. OTHERS REFUSED TO LET GO. MUSIC BECAME THE PLACE WHERE THEY COULD ALL EXIST WITHOUT JUDGMENT.
DCX9000 WAS CREATED AS A PERSONA, A MASK THAT MADE IT EASIER FOR ME TO CONFRONT EMOTIONS THAT WERE OFTEN DIFFICULT TO TALK ABOUT. A WAY TO TRY TO MAKE SENSE OF EXPERIENCES THAT MANY OF US SHARE BUT DON'T ALWAYS KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS, OR HAVE THE COURAGE TO SAY OUT LOUD.
YOU'LL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW THE PERSON BEHIND DCX9000, AND THAT'S OKAY. SOME STORIES ARE MEANT TO REMAIN A MYSTERY.
IF YOU'VE EVER LOVED DEEPLY, LOST PAINFULLY, OR SEARCHED FOR YOURSELF IN THE AFTERMATH, I HOPE YOU FIND A PIECE OF YOUR OWN STORY SOMEWHERE WITHIN THESE SONGS.
THANKS: MY PARENTS, MY BIG SIS ALEXIS, AUNTY MARTY, IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO HAVE FAMILY THAT SUPPORTS YOU
SPECIAL THANKS: VOIDSCAN, WITHOUT YOU I DON'T THINK THIS COULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE; BRENDAN THE GREAT AND STICKY MOOSE, AND SYRUP MOOSE RECORDS FOR TAKING A CHANCE TO RELEASE THIS ALBUM; TO S.A. I ADORE YOU SO MUCH AND I'LL LOVE FOR ALL ETERNITY; VERN CARSON AND JUDE KERR FOR MAKING AMAZING REMIXES; TO THE FANS ON AMPWALL THAT WERE THE FIRST TO LISTEN AND BUY MY SONGS, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART.
AND TO YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY ALBUM, YOU'RE THE BEST!

Also the album version of the songs Follow Me and Feeling Alive are different than the ones released as singles. So even if you’ve heard them before you haven’t heard them like this.

My debut album drops at the end of August on Syrup Moose Records. This started in 2021 as an escape from the world. These songs were really only meant for me, but a push from a friend got me to start recording and create this character. Stay tuned, more to come.
