I get only one 'p', so presumably it's learning by gradient descent and just halved its error rate!
Screenshot: I searched "How many p's are there in google" and got the AI Overview response: "There is 1 "p" in the word Google."

Which of their pals are more famous than a Trump, a Kardashian and Oprah?!
The couple, who got engaged in 2023, are set to tie the knot in front of Ivanka Trump, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey and more famous pals.

For fans of postcodes (i.e. @jamesomalley.co.uk and maybe 3 others) -- when using the Royal Mail's postcode finder for a block of flats, the list of flats seem to be listed in a random order. This is in no way helpful.
Screen shot of a list of address of flats sharing a postcode. But the flat numbers are listed 306, 305, 338, 350, 349. A seemingly random order.

Love this! When you finally win the fun timewaster that is 368 chickens 368chickens.com, it stops you playing it ever again! [Until I clear some cookies I guess. Hopefully 368 of them...]
Congratulations. You rescued the 368 chickens in 10 attempts. The chickens are very grateful. Now you have rescued all the chickens you can no longer play the game. Sorry

I once broke my finger by kicking it while my hand was behind my back, trying to dance like Morecambe and Wise. britishheritage.org/images/22/02...

I just queried Google about how to switch off their AI summaries (as I find them an unhelpful distraction). Their AI summary in response says "use Firefox". But I am using Firefox... 🤦

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #6,166,211! Not exactly an early adopter here, but it's remarkable that I joined only a month ago and Bluesky's grown by over 50% in that time.
I'm number 6166211 out of 10 million.

Pretty sure that improving ChatGPT's notoriously bad maths and programming skills isn't a "big step closer to AGI". The hype seems to be getting a long way ahead of reality. Again.
Headline: Why OpenAI's "Strawberry" is a GAME CHANGER! This is a big step closer to AGI.
