This is my interpretation. I think about "map", as the generic data structure. Not "Map" the built-in JavaScript collection. let fruitsById = { 12 : "apple", 19 : "orange" }; just "ids" suggests that it's a list of ids. And for that purpose, an array is better: let ids = [12, 19];
