This was harder than I expected. There are many more, but these 9 albums were gateways that expanded my taste in music and all the artists I enjoyed and still enjoy today. #My9Albums

Went to a record expo. I swear I had gone with the intention to not splurge. That Madonna is not the easiest to come by! #NowPlaying #Vinyl #Music #Records

Decided to splurge on a CD player… a sentence I never thought I would utter in 2026. Happy I held on to most of my CD collection! Also picked up this one recently! #NowPlaying James Blake (Self-Titled)

Part of the reason I started painting minis was getting the Stormlight Archive kickstarter kit a couple years ago. Starting with 3 of them (Alethi minis), plus 2 freebies from nearby stores that sell supplies. Trying the Zenithal method for primer. #PaintingMiniatures #miniatures #minipainting #geek

Despite its issues, Crimson Desert sure does have stunning scenery.

Yesterday, people in South East New Brunswick received an emergency alert from the RCMP about a prisoner who escaped from a detention centre in the area. The RCMP Facebook page said: “He was last seen wearing blue pants, a brown coat and a black bonnet.” … now it’s a local meme. #NewBrunswick

Bought a used copy of Pokémon ZA, finally playing it. Despite some of its shortcomings, it’s at least better looking than Scarlet and Violet. The kid in me that played Pokémon on a Gameboy would be extremely happy to see me in my 40s still playing.

Haven’t done one of these posts in a while (because everything else is taking up my attention)… The theme is Geeks that party, groove and are very cool. #NowSpinning #nowplaying #vinylcommunity #vinyl #musicsky #vinylsky

Decided to restart the whole thing from scratch. It kept me sane during the pandemic. Hoping for something similar now. Time to get… cozy. #animalcrossing

Felt nostalgic this evening. I used to speedrun this on my Gameboy. I always loved to see big Kirby at the end 💚 #Kirby #Nintendo #Retrogame

Finished two more minis! My fourth and fifth. Hjarlgrum the Dwarf and Dayrik the Elf. Lessons learned: too much wash can make figures look dirtier than intended, varnish tones down the colours a bit, eyes are still a struggle. - #PaintingMiniatures #miniatures #minipainting #hobby #geek

My dad often goes to auctions or secondhand stores in the city and buys random decorations. My parents' house looks like an antique store. Dad thought I might like this glass eggplant. My first thought was "omg, he doesn't know" 🍆 (...and yes, I took the glass eggplant home)

Years ago, when Thomas first got Luci, she escaped and had a wild night, resulting in a few baby kitties. His parents took one of them. Her name is Muffin and she is just as photogenic as her mommy was (and a bit more chonky). Little cootie patooti. - #cats #catsofbluesky #greycat

Wash has been applied to Freya and Korleen has her basecoat. My second and third miniatures! I think I'm really going to enjoy this hobby. It satisfies my meticulous-ness. Now, if only I could get the hang of painting eyes. #PaintingMiniatures #miniatures #minipainting #hobby #geek

Finished Zherxik! This is my first miniature. It came out darker than I anticipated, and made the face brighter than I wanted, but I know that's the perfectionist in me. I'm still very happy with it, especially given it's my first attempt. #Miniatures #Hobby #Geek #ArmyPainter
