Its just as well he ended the trade negotiations. Trump flip flops too much, so you can't really trust any agreement he makes anyway because he's liable to change his mind again and again. Canada can find a new way forward without trade with the states. Its such a sad and difficult breakup

Hopefully Europe stands up to Trump and says no! Basically that's what we are doing here in Canada, so we'll see what happens. Its a different conversation when Ukraine is dependent on US weapons to hold their own though. Very difficult spot, but if you give in, then everything can be lost forever

Agreed! That's Ukraines only hope. And so true, Putin will start in Ukraine and then set up to take Poland and so on. Putin is really mad at the Baltic states for joining Nato, so it's just a matter of time for him to unleash hell in the region affecting all of Europe

The meeting was all a show. The real deal from Trump was already announced when zelensky was at the Whitehouse the last time. Russia keeps the land it conquered and no Nato for Ukraine. He doesn't have the cards. The only hope I see for Ukraine is if Europe stands up in this argument and says NO!

With Trump you never know, and certainly can't trust him or Putin I believe he will side with Putin and has been all along. My bet is he has Putin agree that if he helps Russia get parts of Ukraine land, then Putin will agree to stay out of it when Trump takes Gaza strip and especially Greenland.
