Not exactly sure why flame toys is canceling their Big Convoy but I’m planning on keeping him around! One of the trio that makes up the Convoy Council in my little BW continuation

Still alive and chipping away at this! Just a handful more designs to do and then I can compile everything I have. Here's a tease, cuz I like how they've turned out! Had the bot mode designs since the book came out and finally rounded out their alt modes and Magnaboss combo!

My girl was all excited to show us all her latest artwork tonight. She's gotten so much further along than I was at 13. Has dreams of being a manga/comic artist (lord help me ha) Just love her to bits ♥️♥️

I'm resigning to the idea that I'll probly never find time to draw this as a comic so I'm shifting over to a "series bible" document approach. Expect some new designs, maybe a couple scene illustrations, "episode" summaries, and maybe even some sequential thumbnails! #beastwars

Made time to do a little sketch the other night. An astronaut boy and his best friend! Might explore more dog designs but they could be fun to sketch random stuff with

Putting in some more practice with Procreate and its new brushes with Skeletor! The new ink and watercolor brushes are pretty slick

Ran across my thumbnails for #BeastWars issue 1, thought it might be fun to share! I blew each up to 11x17 size and went straight to inks with these ha. Ever on my mind, those deadlines were 😁. Fun to see the behind the scenes stuff tho, imo

Josh @dcjosh.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Put finishing touches on a draft of the script for chapter 1 today! This is more an exercise in "how far can I feasibly go with all this" so we'll just see lol. Will I ever find time to get to the art phase? Time will tell. First chapter is 13 pgs rn ha 😅 #beastwars #fanproject

This is a fun game. Here's baby High School me with my RID and BW behind me (and the epic dreamwave calendar! Who knew I'd be just a few years from coloring Guido's magnificent art professionally! I think just off screen I was mouse coloring some Gundam fan art, too)

A little late to the party but I'm excited to see if my kid wants to read this with me. If it's half as good as @jlawrenceart.bsky.social is handsome then I'm in for a swell time 😁

Josh @dcjosh.bsky.social · 28/11/2023

Kiddo got some modeling clay and of course first thing she made a Sonic. I love her, hah 🥰

Don't mind me, just prepping for TFcon this weekend with a new print! Hope to see some of you there! I'll be doing commissions at the show, too, some come and snag some!

Josh @dcjosh.bsky.social · 05/10/2023

TFcon Orlando is this month! I very likely wont be able to get any *brand new* prints done up for the show (I'll bring the two Earthspark ones @NickRoche drew/I colored tho!) But I'll be drawing at the show! So come get a commission! (Prices to follow)

It's not oft i'm up to much art these days but I make exceptions for guys like Nick! [Also happy to report i've got a couple one off issues i'll be coloring for a couple different books. More when I can freely announce! But getting to dip my toes in a couple more beloved IP's, so that's fun!]

Heyyyyyy! I don't really have much to show but here I am, here on bluesky! Here's a WIP I'm chipping away at on the side; it's gonna be a Rise of the Beasts print paying homage to my Beast Wars issue 1 cover! Fun stuff!
