In preparation for Belmont’s Curse, I’m replaying Aria of Sorrow! Will probably get the DS collection in Switch as well, since my copy of the new game won’t arrive until late October. May play Symphony of the Night if I’ve got the time to play games at home too.

#devlog 4 Got general movement animations for Anna made, as well as a different 1-up icon for her in the top right. Still need to make her attack & crouch animations. When playing as Anna, the hearts and attack swooshes will change to blue! #pixelart #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame

Here's the old sprite; only changed the legs. Thought they looked a bit off with the coat-tail skirt covering the thighs & hips this way.

#devlog 3 Didn't like Anna's legs, so I updated her sprite. Not only will she be the NPC to upgrade your health, but she'll also be a playable character! When playing as Anna, Emil becomes the "health upgrade NPC" at the cafe. #pixelart #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

I like the new power suit in Ravenous, but the complete lack off ass looks a bit goofy to me. It just looks like they chopped off the cheeks lol Not even about sex appeal, it's just like... where da hell is the muscle?? Gotta do some more squats

#devlog 1 The starting room of the game: Emil’s bedroom! Whenever you load or start a new game you’ll start in this room, and leaving takes you to the level select map. Will probably add some more furniture, like a desk & a tv with a game console #pixelart #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

#devlog 0 I'm making a video game! Inspired by action-platformers like Mega Man, Castlevania, Shovel Knight, etc. In these devlog posts I'll catalogue my progress in development. As you can see, Anna & Emil are very excited! #pixelart #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev

I’ve never had sake before, so got some from the store to try. Didn’t like it (reminded me I hate the taste of alcohol lol) but it came in this cute glass! So now I have a new bathroom sink glass

This started as a simpler design with just Sonic, and a background similar to the Japanese box art for the classic games I got a bit carried away #art #sonicthehedgehog #sonicadventure2
