I find you can tell a lot about a person by whether/how they lie about little things. Here, Ben Ryan glibly says he "catered the Met Gala" and, uh, no you didn't. You did not own or manage a catering company with a contract at the Met in 2004, you were probably a server.

From a hot day in August of 2010, lying on a couch at my friend's house the morning after a party, slightly hungover, waiting for him to get up so we could go smoke some weed.
Awake
If one were making a film, the moments prior to this would’ve featured grandly in a noirish sort of sequence. Black and white shot, medium contrast. Just a touch of a blur filter, making the scene seem smooth and painted with languorous pools of light.
Scene: a face in repose, eyes closed, in a deep and silent slumber. The camera hangs in a sort of profile shot, settling down to linger on a juxtaposed image of the sleeping face against a window growing lighter, creating a mountain scape in silhouette. 
The shot changes to one from above and slightly to the left — just the height of a curious onlooker viewing this quiet scene. It stays there for a long time, carefully straddling the line between art and excessive exposure.
Slowly, the light from the window creeps up the face.
Shot: profile of an eye. All is still in gray-toned hues, all but the gleaming bands of light creeping up, up, and further up.
The light-stripe slides — slowly — effortlessly — up the bottom lid. Anticipation swells. Golden light brushes the tips of long lashes then in a sudden, imperceptible blow, sinks into the tiny crack between the eyelids, flooding the dreaming eyes with an intimate knowledge of sight.
Then, in a climatic burst, (and a quick cut to a direct shot of the eyes):
They open.

This severance of rights and remedies is a sleight of hand;
it comes by way of the majority’s full-throated endorsement
of a contract analogy even though what secures the rights
at issue is not a contract but a law. Today’s decision magi-
cally transforms a federal statute into an invitation to be
accepted or declined, deemed binding only if each particular
defendant has explicitly agreed to be penalized. No matter
that laws, as opposed to contracts, don’t ordinarily work
this way. The trick here is the majority’s effortless confla-
tion of law making and agreement making—two different
sources of binding authority.
The majority’s analysis is spellbindingly straightforward:
Spending Clause statutes are contracts, and contracts bind
only those who consent. Ante, at 6–8. But pulling this rab-
bit out of the hat requires misconstruing the Spending
Clause and the Necessary and Proper Clause, and ignoring
decades of precedent affirming Congress’s authority to use
the power of the purse to govern. In the end, the Court re-
duces some of Congress’s greatest legislative achieve-
ments—federal laws that secure civil rights, environmental
stability, healthcare, and more—to nothing more than the
wheelings-and-dealings of an especially wealthy private
party. Because I would not so trivialize a federal statute or
the constitutional powers pursuant to which it was passed,
I respectfully dissent.

Lots of stories about rights clearances In the Olympics this year and I'm like..... what were you doing before? Getting grand rights, sync rights, etc has been a thing for a long time? Prince and his estate are famously protective of his catalog? This has long been an issue in dance and theater.
