My thoughts is the heading for the page. To the right of the heading are a pair of earphones out of an earphones case. Above is an arrow pointing to it and "read in" by the arrow

The text is on a crumbled piece of white lined paper: I had so so much fun with this! I'm noticing as I'm growing older I'm enjoying books with adult protagonists. I loved that Daphne was older, a mom, and ADHD! I instantly connected to Daphne and Silas when he showed up. They were both funny and cared for each other. Their romance was so sweet and I need to see more in the sequel (don't talk to me about the cliffhanger). Taylor Coan narrated really well, easily allowing me to navigate all the different characters.

The action and magic system was really good - It flowed easily,

Synopsis is the heading. There are 2 blobs. One is dark green and the other mustard yellow.

Text: Thirty-six-year-old Daphne Silver thought she finally had it all; she was married to the love of her life, had an amazing job, and was the mother to three beautiful children. From leading The Hot Moms Book Club to running to after-school practices, nothing could stop her from living the perfectly normal life she had dreamed of, not even her ADHD.

That is, until the accident.

Now, she’s left with only two of those.

Trying desperately to cling to the life she built, she signs up for a technology-free retreat.

But it seems the stars have other plans for her. Instead of leaving for her trip, she is pulled into a world full of fae, dragons, and magic. After a handsome stranger, Silas, rescues her from imminent danger, he agrees to help her get home. They embark on a journey navigating Daphne’s newfound magic, a budding romance that could never work, and the vague predictions of oracles.

With no one looking for her, Daphne has two weeks to find a way back to her world—she can’t allow her family to suffer two tragedies in less than a year.

But in a world full of magic and mystery, will she be able to make it back?

Teresa's determined to get down to business, with whatever she's got - Internet, her wits. You could knock this out in a weekend and it's stay with you. Like spooky things? Read this! Penguin Teen sent me this arc as I was on Colored Pages Book Tours - thanks to you both! #bookreviews

My thoughts is the heading for this photo. there's crumpled lined paper in the middle and text on it.

Spooky + almost an isolation horror, this book was right up my alley! I liked how it explored the dangers of the Internet and balancing loving what you do and trying to not lose yourself in your process.

Teresa was an interesting character in that she's right in the thick of it - loves gaming, wants more followers. But she gets more than she's bargained for and we're along for the ride. Are you ready? Open the door.

After surviving a car accident that claimed the life of her best friend, Teresa is now terrified to leave the safety of her bedroom. Since then, her only solace and window to the outside world has been the online community she found through streaming.

A shadowy figure appears in the background of her favorite's streamer's video, and his behavior mysteriously changes over the next few days before he dies in front of thousands of viewers. Teresa finds herself at the center of a life-and-death investigation as the world tries to figure out what or who this figure could be . . . especially as it begins appearing in the other people's streams, compelling them to "open the door" and let it in—including Teresa’s own. But will she be able to conquer her fears before anyone else loses their life?3: Black/grey background. At the top Is set of numbers. 01-06. 03 is encircled in dark blue. Teeming with magic, otherworldly creatures, discoveries, and journeys, every story is as thrilling and fascinating as it is passionate and meaningful. Worlds are discovered, lives are changed, and swords are drawn.

Disabled and chronically ill characters go questing, fighting dragons, healing, and enacting strange magics. Familiar fairy tales are reimagined, and new fairytales are forged, with each story shattering stereotypes and challenging traditional narratives. Come see yourself reflected—or discover something new.

photo 4: Light blue background. Medium blue half-circle in top right corner. Bottom left corner grey-blue half-circle. My social media handle is at the top. Under that is the title: What is good rep (for me) and why is it good (to see)?

Under that in the dark blue background and white font reads: The actual medical terms aren’t really important. Sometimes it’s difficult to get diagnosed or like in fantasy - there isn’t a word for it. I look for how the characters interact with themselves, the world around them, and how they view their disability.
I want to be able to see myself in the characters. If I’m able to say “same” after seeing them deal with fatigue. Using mobility aids, how ADHDers manage day to day life - I want it all!
In fantasy it’s harder but you can get good rep there - they way they speak about it, how it affects their daily lives.
