Played a couple matches yesterday. Yeah, so much has changed. Have to completely adjust how I play. This game has so much personality now. It legit feels like you're fighting on the streets. Especially, on Broadway.

Weighed myself yesterday. Been up/down but that happens. Yet, overall, down almost 60 now. Still a ways to go. Yet, aiming for at least 30 more by Summer. Yet, this 30 will be the real deal weight. The one that'll be harder to lose than the 60. Yet, I'll get it done.

Always remember, the vast amount of angry discourse you see online, comes from very few. That are likely profiting from it. Most "issues" are ignorable. Most consistent trolls are bots. Most said online doesn't equate to real life. So, enjoy things, and control your happiness.

So I need to hire someone to redesign my site and make it more about my company and less about my work. Any strong suggestions for an indie web designer who doesn't charge a lot?

I wish I had time to play D&D again. I simply don't. Not even a one-shot. Hopefully, in a year or so, I can be in a position to play again. I won all these digital books. I'd like to use them at some point.

People know I love retro games. Then wonder why I don't collect them. This is why. The retro scene is so overpriced. Zoom in on the image and look at the prices. Sonic Adventure 2 for $192!? Zelda for $54. Xenogears for$250. 🤮

I've been more interested in seeing the reveal of the latest Indie or AA game, than most AAA games, the last few years. Not to say, I'll never be interested in AAA games. That'll be silly. It's just that Indie/AA has given me more positive experiences lately.

So many ways to make games these days. Unreal, Unity, GODOT, RPGMaker, Gamemaker, and more. Yet, one of the first "create you own game" tools, is long forgotten. It was simple but fun to mess with.

Always remember, if you enjoy a game that other don't, doesn't mean you're wrong. Just means it fits what you want at the moment. The opposite is also true. Online chatter, in the end, is just banter from strangers. What you like/don't like, is up to you. The rest, is noise.

There's sadly a lot of entitlement in the Creator space. As you grow, you get opportunities. Yet, opportunities aren't guarantees. A ton of factors come into play for getting a key or invite to an event. How you take an occasional denial, can reflect future business dealings.

In the Gaming Creator space, there are so many opportunities now. WAY more than when I started. Creators have direct access to request keys, and even get invited to events. Plus ways to earn. It used to be that you had to be HUGE to get any notice. Awesome how far it has come.

Almost every week, YouTube is like "Don't you want to turn on mid-roll ads? You make more money. You like money, right?" Each time, I just shake my head. Yes, I would make a few more pennies. Yet, why hinder a viewing experience? They got ads at the start and end. Good enough.

Working in IT, is like being a detective, sometimes. I'll get a ticket that says "My page doesn't work." I'm like "What page? What item in the page? What are you trying to do? Who are you?" Then after 10 emails, it was some Excel file, that had nothing to do with anything.

I hate these scammers that target creators. I get so many BS emails. Makes it tough to take honest emails seriously. The worst are the ones that act like they've reached out prior. Emails like "Re: Reaching out one last time" when they've never done so. I block like 50 a week.

YouTube will now showcase the pure view count, instead of engaged views. So, a view counts if even a second is watched. Just know, engaged views is still how the YPP works. So, doesn't mean more money. Engaged views and watch time, is what earns. Not pure view count. #youtube
