Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 24/06/2026In DMC5, Dante gets "Devil Sword Dante." It's the same as the old one, except important moves from the old 'Swordmaster' style (like air slashes or the spin launcher) are now always part of the sword's moveset, regardless of style. Now you can have fun doing combos without being a style savant! 110
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 24/06/2026I think DMC5 successfully lowered the skill floor for playing Dante. Everyone loves DMC4 Dante, but can they actually pilot him? He was annoyingly complex to look competent with, having to switch styles mid-combo just to get a decent combo with his sword. And his sword is the easier weapon! (1/2) 110
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 18/05/2026@keits.bsky.social Left a comment on your "Game Balance isn't Real" video, but seriously, what a treat! It's nice to have someone who's been behind the scenes share those kinds of ideas about balance being largely emotional (and still valid). General FGC talk could do with more of that 1141
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 02/03/2026So I've been rewatching "America's Best Dance Crew", and... 010
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 24/09/2025They're doing numpad notation discourse on the other app so I feel like sharing this nice memory: There was this one time I was bored at work, so I wrote out a (Under Night) Seth combo on paper and managed to convince my coworker I was a mathematician Fun times 150

Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 10/08/2025At multiple locals, throughout the years I've noticed that people don't try to talk to the person that showed up alone. The FGC is definitely welcoming but sometimes I feel like people are blind... 170
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 01/08/2025It feels very weird for me to be seeing all this promising info about Marvel Tokon but feel nothing at all. I wish I shared everyone else's excitement but I'm beginning to suspect that I'm fully burnt out on fighting games 010
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 07/07/2025It takes watching KOF or Under Night for people to regularly make plays that actually impress me 010
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 07/07/2025If motion inputs are being removed to make things easier for beginners, I don't care. But I hate hate HATE all these mechanics that exist to make forging a gameplan simpler. No need to think up a way into your best position, just press Drive Rush. Or Wild Assault. Or Dash L. 251
Daz | Bambo 🏳️🌈 @dazardz.bsky.social · 02/07/2025Man, I will always love fighting games. I love the audacity to commit to the flashkick, and I love the fact that taking a slight step forward actually lured it out. Hilarious 120
