David @dayvyd.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I normally wait until around Halloween to better time peak immunity to the standard course of respiratory illness season but we’re having an early ramp-up in flu this year! Got both that and Covid today. 060
David @dayvyd.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I’m trying to find more screen-free hobbies. Picked up a learn to embroider kit on a whim and finding it v lovely and contemplative and I’m sure you get faster with practice but I’m not clear how I’m going to complete this before 2030??? 0150

David @dayvyd.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I’ve had this bag for the last 3 years; has held up really well and the drawstring closure on the main compartment makes it super expandable. David @dayvyd.bsky.social · 18/09/2026History: The FDR Library, Eleanor Roosevelt’s house at Vallkill, and the Vanderbilt Mansion are all very close to each other in Hyde Park. Kingston has lots of historic places; Rough Draft Books is fab and is in a pre-Revolutionary War building. 100

David @dayvyd.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Hiking options are pretty endless: Harriman, Bear Mountain, & Storm King State Pks on your way up. My personal fave is Minnewaska. They will be crowded for foliage season. Kingston is a great base for the Catskills, lots within an hour (Balsam Lake and Windham Wilderness are 2 faves). 100
