Say what you will about Mario Kart Tour, but it gave us some good stuff for the series. It will be missed.

Oh yeah, the Kingdom Hearts 1-3 collection comes out next month for the Switch 2. I need to look into a bigger micro SD express card...

Been playing Pokemon Puzzle League recently. Would be cool if they made another but with the more recent characters and pokemon that Ash has traveled with.

I still think it's criminal that Nintendo still hasn't made a Metroid Prime 2 Remastered and Metroid Prime 3 Remastered yet. I'd buy those in an instant.

I wish it were November already. I wanna play the Ocarina of Time remake. I've never been this excited for a Zelda game since..... ever, actually.

If there's one thing that Hayden likes, it's hitting up the local skate park. With their personalized skate board, affectionately dubbed 'Wood Hammer', they spend the whole day skating and pulling sick tricks.

Thinking about doing another iron artist project. Wanna flex my muscles again.

The SNES tracks in the Mario Kart World update were pretty fun to play. Hopefully when they do make some DLC, they put in the rest of the Super Mario Kart tracks for the full set.

Forgot to mention this, but the switch 2 version of Pikmin 4 looks pretty good. The dandori academy sounds like fun. Maybe they should make a Pikmin puzzle game solely based on Dandori challenges.

Just watched the direct, new Kirby and Metroid games? Sign me up!

Just 100% completed Yooka Replaylee. Great game! I may not have played the original Yooka Laylee, but this was still a blast to run through. The Rareware collectathon DNA is still strong here, but it wasn't difficult or tedious. Very worth playing ^^

My hope for the OoT remake/remaster/whatever is that they add the cut light and wind dungeons from the original game as well as making the Ice Cave a full fledged dungeon.

Been re-watching Yu-Gi-Oh on Tubi. Now I know why Pot of Greed is a meme.

120

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

For the Zelda direct tomorrow, I'm pretty sure they've got news on the OoT remake, the Zelda movie and some new merch, like amiibos and stuff.

010

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Started playing Yooka Replaylee for the first time. It really does capture that old Rareware collect-a-thon games in the past like Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64. Still, first world has been 100% completed and now moving on to the second.

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Not just one, but two Nintendo Directs next week. And, as always, be sure to temper your expectations.

120

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I'm curious. Lemme know what you think.

Mario Kart 8 DX getting an update in 2026 was not something I was expecting.

020

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

So what's the new Nintendo Direct rumor this time?

010

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I had a thought. I'm pretty sure that if and when the next Smash Brothers game does come out, I'm pretty sure Sakurai would put in Skyah from Kirby Air Riders as a stage.

A little thing for @munkeesgomu.bsky.social. A little clothes swap can be fun, right? Hope ya like it ^^

Great, first Dolly Parton, and now Tim Curry has passed? On the same day even? What the actual fuck....

260

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Mmmh, I wanna draw something but I'm comin' up with no ideas.... Well, maybe not entirely no ideas... I do wanna do an outfit swap, but I dunno who I wanna do it with...

010

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Just woke up to hearing the news of Dolly Parton's passing. I may not have listened to her music much, but I do know of the good things she's done. She was a wonderful woman with a genuine good heart. May she rest in peace.

I should start playing Yooka Replaylee soon...

010

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

I did it! I finally beat the final challenge on Kirby Air Riders! That time limit is super strict but I managed to beat Gigantes in under 1:45:00. That completes all the challenge boards for Kirby Air Riders!

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Decided to play Kirby Air Riders to get the last few remaining City Trial check boxes, and lo and behold, I finally get Gigantes! Yes! Just a few more to complete and I'll have 100%ed the game!

010

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Well, with Super Mario Sunshine done, I'm at a crossroads on what game I should play next: Yooka Replaylee Pokemon Fire Red Ghost Trick Final Fantasy 1-7 Freedom Planet 1 and 2 Pizza Tower AntonBlast

240

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

And done. Super Mario Sunshine is 100% complete once again. The save state feature really saved a lot of hair pulling and rage.

All Shines collected, now for the worst part: Blue coin hunting. Wish me luck.

Made it through "I'm a Chuckster!" hell. Thank god for save states.

Already got the Pachinko and Poison River Shine Sprites out of the way in Sunshine. Thank god for the save state feature.

Fortnite. I just don't like Battle Royales very much. The only exceptions are Tetris 99 and, when it was still going on, Mario 35.

040

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Super Mario Sunshine is now on the Gamecube Online. This'll be the 3rd time I've played it, but I'll have the pleasure of using Save States for certain shines. You know why.

Just finished watching the original series of Pokemon up until the end of the Orange League on Tubi. Too bad I can't find the Johto, Hoenn, Battle League or Sinnoh anywhere, really wanted to watch them next. Maybe, if by some chance, they'll add them later.

030

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I did it! I finally beat the Elite Four and the Champion in Leaf Green! My team were level 53-54. I was able to pull it off with some luck and plenty of hyper potions/full restores ^^

050

Geoff, just Geoff. @dayoshiman89.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Still been watching the old pokemon anime as of late, and I find it weird that the only time they reference the 'Low HP warning' sound is only when Staryu or Starmie are about to faint.

Bowser day pic for this year ^^ Looking to get buff? Bowser's got you covered! In his totally normal, not at all suspicious box, is the best work out gear you could possibly want! However, it requires two people to use, and Bowser's more than happy to lend you a hand~

Made a lot of progress in Leaf Green. Got the Soul, Marsh and Volcano Badges, evolved my Weepinbel and Pikachu after they learned the moves I was waiting for, caught Articuno and Zapdos, and made my way to the Sevii Islands. Now it's time for the stuff I've never played before lol

Finally completed the online matches checklist for Kirby Air Riders. All I need to do is the City Trial checklist. .....which involves Gigantes. Fuck me running......
