We’ve been waiting to see if someone would reach out about this before making a post about it, but nobody has contacted us thus far. A receipt was in the bag with the product, so we are able to verify the payment card used for the purchase.

ATTN: Purchase left at DOTG 2026. We’re just over a week removed from DOTG and we wanted to make it known that there was a purchase of a Ltd Ed. “MG Freedom 2.0 Cross Contrast” clear kit - one of the exclusive kits (pictured) available on the day - left at the show. [Thread]

So what we’ll say for now is this: Once the dust has settled more, once the batteries have recharged, we’ll be sure to make it known once plans are definitively locked in. But for now, watch this space. Once more a huge thank you to all involved. - The Gundam Mad Team.

Day Of The Gundam ➡️ 11th July 2026 @dayofthegundam.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Putting on a debut event in 2025 was an amazing achievement. And following up with a second just 12 months later has also been incredibly rewarding, but has also meant a lot of burning the candle at both ends, so to speak.

Speaking of future events, the obvious question we’re sure a lot of you have is: what’s next? We want to make it absolutely clear, Day of the Gundam WILL RETURN! When? That’s something the Gundam Mad team need more time to decide after (we hope you’ll agree) a very well deserved rest & recharge.
