I feel like Aranea would be a Harpy eagle. One reason being because her as a dragoon I see her as death from above and harpy eagles are known as the deadliest and powerful. Aranea is small in size but the strength she carries she can take things down 10x her size.

Aranea had already been part of the lancer guild before ARR. Her adoptive father is a Twin Adder, and when Aranea showed interest in the way of the lance as a young girl he took her as his apprentice, and taught her everything he knew before she even joined the guild.

This would have been a canon outfit going into Dawntrail ff13 lovers would know it. I remember before DT came out I was struggling to piece together a look for Aranea that was very her. I was trying to lean away from armor as much as possible to reflect how she opened up over the years

Aranea’s Lightwarden name would have been Agape meaning unconditional love, selfless, and sacrificial love. Aranea’s path became an endless cycle of sacrifice for those she loved and came to love. When the scales tip and she becomes a Lightwarden her form is adorned with golden chains. She retains-

Funny enough when I made Aranea I was trying to pick colors I hadn’t really used or wouldn’t have even considered using. Tried to break picking what I had used in character creations before.I ended up settling with green and paired with deep blue eyes with a lighter blue ring. I loved the combo

Aranea’s worst flaw especially in the beginning, she is still working on it,..the need to plan for every outcome. It is good to plan ahead but she let it consume her. She was always preparing for the worst that there was little room for much else. She never fully relaxed. The reason it started stems

Been a little while since I’ve sat down with a pencil and paper…I missed getting invested and in the zone while drawing. Expedition 33 is one thing that motivated me to want to jump back into art. I hope to draw more in the new year.

She is a very shameless flirt. Quite the smooth talker and a pickpocket. She has a bit of a mysterious past-
