It's so cool how the best way to get relevant labels on a post is to basically make something noticable enough to a mod that's feeling persnickety that day. Surely to encourage self moderation Bsky makes it so to apply relevant labels to a post the best option is to do nothing and let a mod do it.

It's usually good to remember each like is an individual person. It's also good to kinda embrace the absurdity of it all. My best engagement was me drawing a circle and copying and pasting it four times. My rushed drawings will spike in engagement and I'm like wait why do you like it this much.

A few months later I started posting here and now I've reached over 200 pieces of public art that people enjoy. So thank you again if you read this far. I hope this ramble was somewhat insightful, maybe motivational and a good reflection of my progress so far. Thanks everyone!

But what got me to finally make and try art is to accept I want to draw characters and indulgent art. So last year I watched a few anatomy videos and followed along on my phone with my index finger cause I was worried someone would see me draw boobs and that's how I ended up consistently drawing.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I will say reflecting on my progress so far. I've done more than I thought I would and I'm happy with what I've made. I've wanted to make art for a while before this account but I could never get into to it. I've looked into a few tutorials and courses before and even bought a few drawing tablets.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I want to try to focus on learning more art fundamentals and try some more ambitious and longer transformation work. I can't guarantee anything yet but my goal with this schedule change is to create better work for everyone to enjoy.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

While I definitely want to keep making and posting art the question of sustainability and stagnation have definitely become a bigger question the longer the streak has gone. Most of my time drawing has been for daily uploads and I'm definitely reaching a plateau with my current artistic ability.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Reflection: When I first started posting I was originally thinking of only aiming for 50 days before switching up my schedule. But everyones support definitely gave me momentum to make me not notice I've already passed the 50th 100th and 150th mark. And I now I've already passed the 200th mark.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

TLDR: My current plan is to pivot to a minimum of one weekly post on Bluesky and at least one daily backlog post to my Furaffinity. When my Furaffinity is caught up I plan on giving another update announcement to announce any new plans or changes.

110

Daxlz @daxlz.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Hi! I'm proud to say I've passed 200 days of daily transformation art posts. Thank you everyone whos enjoyed my work so far and supported me. I really appreciate it. I wanted to do give a general update of my future plans even if this is more of an accountability post for myself if anything.

"Thank You!" A drawinging I made with my phone and index finger.
