Working on the sound mix for the completed parts of the new Rainbow Dash Presents! This is a really fun step - this is where it really comes together and feels FINAL.

If you want to get something done... dawnsomewhere.com/index.php/festival-day-part-1/ I started writing a Deltarune fanfiction. It's about 20k words so far and is something like what I would have liked to see instead. Now, if you disagree with me, you can say the version I want is HORRIBLE.

I have some great personal news to share: I FINALLY got a full-time graphic design job! A year and a half ago I announced on here that I lost my job, and so many of y’all rushed in to show support by buying commissioning, and I want to thank all of you for your support! (1/4)

In fairness, if you released an article named "Man FUCK Roblox" I would probably give it a read out of morbid curiosity at a minimum.

"One thing will be clarified." Yeah, buddy, you're not going to get me again. Not after that last one. You teased that festival for three chapters and the whole thing was just Sans selling unlicensed ice cream marked "not for individual resale".

I was pretty bewildered with the scene where Hojo recognizes Cloud early on because I guess he played the original game or something, and then Hojo got attacked by ghosts to stop him from telling Cloud he wasn't in SOLDIER. Nobody told Hojo that Cloud killed Sephiroth, he wouldn't know Cloud.

If you're like me, feeling like you don't understand a stressful situation makes it worse. I don't know mine is the correct answer for sure, but I think it's the most logical one, and while I'm reading the news on all this, it's the perspective I do it with.

030

Dawn Somewhere @dawnsomewhere.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Most of Iran's oil wasn't sold directly to the US, so logically they probably assumed they could crack Iran and begin taking the oil, to bolster this economy. That's why there is no real plan nor justification, because admitting why at all is admitting to the flaws and problems leading to this.

130

Dawn Somewhere @dawnsomewhere.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

I don't think it's necessarily that the US as a whole HAS to be financially insolvent, but that the current administration desperately wants an economy that is unsustainable in normal circumstances, and they can't admit the flaws of their system because the administration is rife with insecurity.

120

Dawn Somewhere @dawnsomewhere.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Threatening Greenland, warring with Iran, and taking oil from Venezuela isn't a "projection of strength", it's an admission that our system is weak and desperate, that we cannot bide our time, and that presumably we need to make these moves before the chickens come home to roost.

140

Dawn Somewhere @dawnsomewhere.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

I think the reason why our country has been so focused on perpetrating conflict lately is because the country is insolvent and looking at looming debts it can't pay in this financial structure. The only way to expand the economy is by seizing outside resources.

I'm joking. I wasn't kicked out intentionally. Andrea Libman showed up by surprise, and when I stood up to make way for Ashleigh Ball, Andrea sat down in my seat. There wasn't much I could do after that, so I saw myself off!

The main draw is the "We Will Not Play DnD" podcast, because that's the thing being released most consistently and it's also seeing audience growth. Anything I do for Youtube tends to go into an algorithmically calculated trashcan.
