iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

See it's that continuous slight self contradiction that makes her suspicious.

Chronos release my weary soul

000

What she doesn't know about him can't scare her with the eldritch terror of true infinity. If he wakes up in a ditch somewhere he'll fight her hand to hand.

000

Good dreams? Not sure he can actually have those. Or even if she did make him sleep eternally he'd certainly out last her. But that's neither her nor there if he rises at dawn.

Magic or not he'd probably have passed out. The warmth of her lap under his head was relaxing.

000

" Because full name and title introductions are ridiculous. Call me Leo. " By now his eyes had fallen shut for the past several moments. Fatigue catching up to him.

" If that's how you want to do it. Leonidas Vernon Dawnlight the third. " He lets out a dry chuckle. Laughing at his own name it seems.

" Sometimes. " His eyes shut, legs crossing as he sighs. Another new one... " What's your name? "

000

" Depends. If it's for business, mind games. For fun, RPGs. " Emerald hued eyes blink up at her. Scrutinizing her features. " You're new. "

000

" I like playing different games. " Despite the natural grey colour his hair is exceptionally soft.

000

Too close to the sun, yes. See that dude burned up and died. Because he didn't know well enough to leave it alone.

100

Sighs, sitting down a few feet away before laying down. Hands under his head as it sets in her lap. " You having fun yet? "

000

And so they war For a reason they don't know To an end they didn't choose Blood as blood, men as men Skin, and bone of the machine

000

Fine. Just for the sake of getting this voodoo hoodoo over with he'll go along with it.

010

Has she heard of this guy called Icarus?

100

Sometimes that hollow pang in my chest makes me believe I'm already dead.

000

Because her idea of fine and his most likely differ.

100

He said he'd sleep. He did not agree to this.

000

...fine. If it gets her off his ass.

000

That's not confidence inspiring...

100

Most haven't heard of rhetoric

000

Sigh... How come servants are always so difficult?

The exact reason I would be concerned is that whenever -you- want part.

100

Panting, hand brushing crimson coated hair back away from his eyes. He's a little shocked he's alive.

000

Really? Seem pretty standard "mage" to me.

000

" Shithole of a city. " " Warmth offff? " He draws that last syllabe, it slowly fading out as he stares.

000

" You clearly haven't gone to downtown LA. This amount of pretty faces in such a dense concentration is not normal. "

000

" Yeah you can phrase it like that. "

000

" I have figured that out, yes. "

000

All of us. We all have different mothers. I earned the right to take the Dawlight family crest however.

000

No, neither are idiots or weak. Just really good at one. I've got my dexterity.

000

" Well I figured this is what you meant. But last I heard it some chick was six mojitos deep out in Cali. So you guess what she wanted. " His hand rests on the small of their back. Pressing on it slightly as they stand there.

000

Us mage families are crazy. You should see my siblings. They got the intelligence and strength aspects.

000

The guard chuckles, his arm looping around their hips. Pulling them in against his front. " You know there's at least three ways yo interpret that. "

000

" Pretty sure. Your cheeks even feel warm. "

000

The collective sum of generations of my family lineage. Which began in the year 543 A.D.

000

" Sounds like a whole lot of you dodging the compliment out of embarrassment to me. "

000

Ain't my fault I was selectively bred-

000

" You, duh. " His hand grips under their chin, and tilts their head side to side. " Beautiful face, slender, soft skin. "

000

Maybe kinda. Not that I'd want to be a animal eternally.

100

She's not going to listen even if he says no is she...?

000

Not literally. Everyone here has impeccable physical features.

000

Raises an eyebrow, the back of his hand pushing the tailor's hand aside without looking. " Yeah, I know. I was kinda bred that way. "
