Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Couldn't get tickets to the TIFF screening but saw it simulcast, including the Q&A at the end, at another theatre. Had never seen it on a big screen before and it was enthralling. 010
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 30/08/2026I am now a paid member of The Official ELON MUSK IS A SAD LITTLE BITCH WITH NO FRIENDS Monument Design Committee - one of the best birthday gifts ever!! I'm truly jazzed about this, it made my day! I have so many ideas. 0132
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 28/08/2026What a get, congratulations! You don't usually shy away from controversy, within reason. If it comes up, I would love to hear clarification of his feelings re: the English TERF movement. I've had the impression he has moved toward being a sympathizer in recent years, which is disappointing. 021
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 24/08/2026It's a very confusing, conflicting time for us Doug Ford haters. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 24/08/2026LOL. Douggie has been waiting for a year and a half to throw down. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 24/08/2026This is a very good article that describes exactly that, and his approach vs. the approach of Europeans leaders. www.wsj.com/world/europe...wsj.comThe Canadian Who Steered Europe Away From the U.S.Facing threats from Trump, Carney emerged as a central figure in a project to reshape the Western alliance. 021
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 24/08/2026This. All of these 'concede nothing' folks make me laugh. This isn't a theoretical exercise, there will be job losses with real people hurting. There were always going to be some concessions from us. Carney's job was to minimize them, until they became to great to bear. He had to show he tried. 120
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 23/08/2026There is absolutely zero chance he was 238 lbs in recent times. He's pushing 300, if not over. 020
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Very curious about the threat to French language media. Have any specifics come out yet? 120
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Curiosity, willingness to change your mind in light of new information, comfort with ambiguity. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 21/08/2026I'm grateful that I never made the jump from laptop to phone as my main source of internet access. I am on my laptop way too much at home, but when I am out of the house I really only use my phone in a pinch to look up information quickly, so I am more engaged in what I'm doing. Hate tiny screens. 010
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 21/08/2026I would ask Brent, of his 154k followers on twitter, how many are actually STILL on twitter. And of those, how many are actual humans. Not as many as he thinks, I'm sure. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026You said yourself that the Act, as you understood it, was abolished decades ago. But now you are back on the 'blame Carney' argument, nonetheless. Blame Carney if you want, no skin off of my nose, but it's not rational or correct. I'm doing going in circles with you over this. 200
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I posted information from a well-qualified source saying that Canada's Health Act is binding to the feds and not the provinces. I did not offer a judgement on it one way or the other. Those lawyers are wrong, and you are making assumptions about me and my intent based on your feelings, not fact. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026You've never shown how Carney is responsible. I've shown how he isn't. I'm not his biggest fan either, he's turned out to be quite disappointing in many ways, but I still don't see his part in it. I'm in Ontario and Doug Ford has been trying his best to destroy our health care system. 200
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026It's not about winning or losing, and I'm sorry you see it that way. It's about being factual. I'm also not sure why you are blaming a 50-ish years ago federal government when provincial premiers could be doing the right thing, and they are not. 100
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I assume you are being facetious by asking why we have a federal government, but in case you are not, there are many national matters to deal with beyond health care, which again, is a provincial responsibility. 100
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I suggest you check his credentials and qualifications. Dr. Macfarlane is a constitutional scholar who extensively publishes and advises government. 201
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 18/08/2026I assumed Big Turk bars were Turkish Delight when I was a kid and really liked it. Tried the real stuff a few years ago. Ewww, what a letdown. Gross. 120
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 17/08/2026I got a ticket there once for parking in a lot where the arm was malfunctioning and stuck in the up position. Not sure what they wanted me to do about it. I had to hurry to get to class on time. I appealed and they finally did invalidate it. 000
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 15/08/2026It is. And when you consider the price you pay for extremely unreliable service, it's infuriating. 010
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 15/08/2026I don't think the average person knows, because most rarely if ever take Via, but it's bad. Very bad. 100
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 15/08/2026Ooooh, Via Rail sucks has become a hot topic in our house. My daughter uses it to commute into Toronto for work as of the past 6 months, and it is literally never on time, and often several hours late. Toronto to Windsor line. 100
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 12/08/2026If Mamdani were mayor, you would have a water fountain by noon tomorrow. 110

Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 05/08/2026When I was a kid the only out of season tomatoes we could buy were small, hard and tasteless and were sold 4 to a package, sitting in a narrow green plastic thing, and wrapped in cellophane. Now that they are common year round, they are aesthetically better but still tasteless. 020

Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 29/07/2026It's seriously shocking that these so-called medical professionals are licensed to practice medicine. 031
Dawn @dawn9902.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Never realized what poor shape VIA Rail is in until my daughter started using it weekly to commute for work. Trains home are routinely hours late. High speed trains that run on time are desperately needed. 000
