Well, I had 2 really good games today on TGM4 Normal 2.1, one where I got 260000+ points under 5 minutes but only got 7 Tetris Clears on the credit roll (didn't even mess up, just had a bad bag), and then I had this game where I did everything right except I just missed the score mark. Soon though.

Signed up for Texas Showdown 2027. I'm also going to try to run Tetris TGM4 as a community event. Given TGM went so well last year, I think it'd be fun to run the most current entry in the series. That being said, I hope items get added to TGM4, they were a blast in TGM last year.

As it turns out it was just sound effects But Mihara did mention how he wants the appeal of TGM to expand to a wider audience, and that could be done with items It's probably just delusion on my part, but I can hope. I mainly just want a current Tetris game with items, they're always fun

Somehow managed to get MasterV on TGM3 this weekend, which (possibly) is the highest Master Mode grade on Arcade UFO's machine. I say possibly because the hard drive doesn't save anymore, which is why I have to make a new profile every time I play. #tgm_series

Did some math and found out I haven't won Tetris 99 1000 times yet. I'm a little less than 40 away, and that's if you combine regular 99 and Invictus wins. Surprised I haven't hit that mark yet, but now I kinda want to go for it

I managed to find a copy of Puyo Puyo for Gameboy today! Porting a color matching puzzle game to a monochrome handheld was certainly a choice, and I can only imagine how much worse it was without a backlit screen

Nintendo's run of summer games has me excited. Even if Rhythm Heaven and Splatoon Raiders only come remotely close to how much I'm enjoying Star Fox, I will still be satisfied.

Unsuccessfully tried getting a GM in Tetris TGM on real hardware. The highest I got was 909, and I played for a few hours. I don't get why this is so hard. I get that I'm not a stick player, and maybe I'm getting unlucky with the piece randomizer, but it feels like I should've GM'd by now.

The Star Fox remake is fantastic. It plays great, looks stunning, and sounds beautiful. While the in-game dialogue is sometimes a step-down from 64, the cutscenes make up for it by adding a lot more context to the battles and the overall scenario. Also the battle mode is really fun

I need the Star Fox 64 Remake immediately. I'm surprised how excited I've become for it, but the dialogue in the demo's cutscene has elevated my hype for the game to previously unthinkable levels. The fact that the Arwing controls like a dream also doesn't hurt matters

Played the Star Fox demo. I was already gonna get it but this solidified that decision. I feel like all of my concerns are fading: the designs of everyone are all growing on me, and while the Dialogue doesn't hit the same highs as 64, it is good, and the mission brief cutscenes are excellent.

Overall I'm really happy with the Switch Port of Tetris TGM4. It plays well, though playing on joycon is more difficult than I'd thought it'd be, though being able to use keyboard is nice. I still prefer the Steam version since I run that at 144hz, but I'll be glad to easily take TGM4 places
