I work lego retail and boy do I feel this. Same goes for the sets with TSA scanners like this one. There's something... off about pitching "help prepare your toddler for airport security" to a parent.

you must leave trails of bad art in your wake, or you remain still. creation *is* practice. there are always better artists, and you'll never outpace your dreams. make art anyway. someone will appreciate your art, even if you don't believe it's good. find those people, and let them motivate you.

thankfully, this does not include making/removing connections. just updates to the node itself. and, no, the rest of this UI does not appear to be immediate mode. (this is the method that gets called, by the way :) )

today in wtf godot: every time a shader graph node is changed, it's destroyed and replaced by a completely new node. yes, this means that every time you click these little dropdowns, a new node is being created :)
