It didn't click for me until I read the authors intention for part 2 was to parallel a story about addiction, where every time Denji uses his power the worst comes to pass and yet he can't stop. Really does nail that point home but its a slow burn with less excitement compared to act 1.

We can't win over the hardcore extremists but I promise every group has people way less dedicated who can be peeled off and change their minds for the better. I very strongly support the final point. I will say I understand if someone just wanted to do a one off drawing without much thought or consideration but if someone truly enjoys the concept, ask yourself why you love it, move that into a legally distinct OC/IP, and make something new and competing.

This is not combative, just conversation. Many artists I follow draw fetish material that offends someone. Cucking could make married people feel unsafe, bdsm could be triggering, CNC offends most people outside the niche, at what point is it no longer serious or a few offended people is acceptable?
