We just can't see it. The majority of voters in this country are so apathetic because no-ones coming up with ideas that they can relate to. Greens have got some BIG ideas but they don't have the means to get the messages across, hopefully that will change as policies mature.

There's no fear of me not engaging! I'm most interested in developing Fiscal Policy along the lines of Jamie Driscol and Sheridan Kates, I'm convinced we need to adopt radical positions along modern monetary lines, I very much agree with Jason Hickel's analysis on degrowth & eco socialism!

I am a Green Party member, I was not consulted before the party that represents me posted this. As an atheist I can only see Zionism through that lens. Who I have also been following for the last 3 yrs. Harnessing great communicators who are passionate about Eco Socialism has to be a priority, at the moment it's a three man band with Zack out front, but the media have it in for him, we need more respected voices to publicly consolidate GP policy.

I think the idea of the Fiscal Referees is the missing link - especially the way R Murphy explains it from a theoretical rather than a practical standpoint. Combine the work done on the Hostage Nation report by Jamie Driscol and this work by the current EPG points us firmly in the direction of MMT.

I've been following Murphy for the best part of 10 yrs. Sheridan explains the whole thing BETTER than Murphy to be honest, & Keen is again, very technical but if we are to shift to radical eco socialism, which I yearn for, don't we need to get all Modern Moneterists together on a public platform?

I've just watched this interview with Ed & Sheridan, also the more recent one with Helena. What we are hearing is a mechanism to adopt MMT, but without any reference to it or Richard J Murphy, Steve Keen or Stephanie Kelton - is there a strategic reason for this? We have a very narrow window to shift the Overton Window to a mass realisation that neo liberal capitalism is on a highway to hell. MMT makes absolute sense.

There's loads of stuff linked to MMT which R Murphy explains, equalising Capital gains with income tax, stop paying interest to banks on their reserves, taxing wealth not income for the richest, getting the taxes that we're owed by dodgers, reducing taxes on the lowest paid workers - all winners!

There's too much emphasis on present day issues & not enough on the radical policies we need to adopt if we are going to shift the Overton Window & convince a majority electorate. Next year's motions need to focus on a radical programme & take on the Spectator/Telegraph axis with utter commitment.
