Trying to post more about music. Ron House claims that he’s “no longer a genius” on a song here but that’s bullshit. Great record and a worthy follow up to TJSA. Too bad they didn’t do a bit more. old3cfreeforall.bandcamp.com/album/northr...

Update: still in highest of high rotation, Peter has no bad records, but with that said, this is astoundingly great.

I know this is what the Verge does or thinks they need to do to stay relevant, but what if they just didn’t or had the sense to say how this is absolute bullshit. It would be amazing if the discourse about music was driven by people who love music

Adam Elliot just released the second Long Odds record. Maybe even better than the first record which got a ton of play in my world. It also looks like NYC will get its 2nd Times New Viking show of 2026 next month long-odds.bandcamp.com/album/the-dr...

Crossed a long time internet celebrity crush off the list. Got to hang out (and inadvertently share my breakfast with. I WAS warned and still, she caught me with my guard down and was able to quickly capitalize on my carelessness) A+ doggie, the wonderful Toody.

I just heard that Billy Stump A.K.A. Billy Synth passed away last week. An absolute unsung hero of psychedelic garage music through both his own music and the Psychedelic Unknowns comps. Both of these LPs are still available and if you don’t have them you should fix that ASAP

Not quite plate in the head/I can tell when it’s gonna rain level, sometimes it just feels weird. Broke the other wrist about 5 or 6 years later so I have matching scars and plates and screws in both.
