Is anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area (specifically San Mateo county) interested in meeting with state senator Josh Becker to discuss #AB2047? If Silicon Valley of all places can't secure a No vote on this bill from a single Senator, manufacturing (and democracy) here might as well be dead.

Why are we so upset about bill AB 2047? It allows for a company partnered with the biggest AI surveillance company, Palantair, access to your life. The things the bill claims to do are already illegal and those crimes are down significantly. I want a safer world just like you. This is not the way.

When you’re reaching out to your senators this week and onward, use the following example and be kind: “How do you determine which trigger is the bad trigger?” Give them time to work it out and come to a conclusion and explain how things work. And then extrapolate from there. Empower people.
