Regarding Trump's post on Rob Reiner - I think Gordie Lechance said it best years before he was a thing. "Suck my fat one, you cheap dime store hood".

I am facing a huge decision. My father went back to full MAGA on Monday night and it was very clear that my beliefs were less than tolerated. It was beyond bad. I am reminded of @michaelkruse.bsky.social article - www.politico.com/interactives... and wonder if this is where I am now.

I'm sure someone smarter than me can find the ratings by 15 to 30 minutes of Fox Pregame SuperBowl coverage. But since I obviously just changed the channel at 3:30 EST because of the Orange VP and curious to see what ratings reflect.

Tonight is the first night I'm really tired. But in NC, the rails held again, though the fight goes on. I believe we will win here. Other courts are keeping balance. Tomorrow, I'll eat great for the Super Bowl. And while I know he'll be there - I just want to hear boos when he's shown.

Today I’m reminded of Breaking Bad, Season 2. Unfortunately, it’s a bleak reminder based on being in and around aviation too long. If you don’t know it, feel free to Google it and just follow the aircraft traffic controller job storyline. 1/

So I am on the Griffin list in NC. I am one of the 60,000 votes that are being fought over. Have a NC voter registration card. Have voted in elections since I moved back here without issue. But not my vote is in question. Tell me again, who tries to steal elections?

I'm having trouble understanding why Trump is delaying the tariffs. They are supposed to raise so much money and he promised them on Day 1, so why wait? I mean, I know what they really are, but his followers ate that shit up.

You may feel a sense of dread, or discomfort. I assure you, I feel it too. There has never been a more important time for you to be YOU. Be strong. Be everything you've been up to this point, and then some. What we need is the "and then some" level. That's the difference maker.

I go into tomorrow planning on watching the last two Avengers movies. Seems appropriate considering the day. And I mean that because the Falcon and Black Panther come first on MLK day. And maybe one other reason. What comes next is going to be hard and a lot harder than the last time. 1/

Was talking with a MAGA member I know today and the CEO shooting came up. After last school shooting we talked and he finally realized that each press conference sounds like the one before and why can't we do anything to stop it. Today as we discussed a single shooting of a CEO, he asked why 1/

Tonight I talked with a MAGA family member and asked why MAGA took us to the brink and threatened not to raise the debt ceiling, but now they want it basically gone. They had no idea idea that was actually facts, but basically went with the idea "Trump knows best". Not surprising.

I absolutely love the starter packs here. The best part is that you can follow or choose, but know they'll be on your feed. If it's not your thing, you can unfollow. I have stayed away from block lists because I know good people get slipped in and that's harder to undo.

I had a project early in school to talk to my grandparents about their lives. It inspired me to keep those conversations going with four people who lived through the Great Depression and WW2. I heard so many stories, but I will tell you they lost 4 siblings between them to polio. 1/2

Just deleted my Twitter account. Had checked it about every 3rd day, but just honestly sucked to do it. I'll miss a lot of UNC folks that haven't moved over, but I didn't even see them in my timeline anymore. Felt about a millionth of a second of regret and then open up here and that was gone.

I'm also blocking those who sat out or voted for Trump for single issue and are not complaining. Don't want to hear that whining as much as MAGA's BS at the moment.

I'm trying to take a step back through the holidays, while Biden is in charge. Plus it's a pretty daunting schedule for UNC BB. But as what comes next begins, I may not have the sympathy for single issue voters or those who voted for Trump. At some point, you made your bed - time to lay in it.
