It's dangerous for the same reason it's dangerous now, and was dangerous pre-GPT3. Speculating like this feels like pumping the VC fantasy of AGI. This line of reasoning has been around for decades is a big distraction from current issues in AI ethics

This is usually due to unknown factors that could interact with the state and sometimes having that "non-elegant" approach just means the code is more robust/scalable

Sometimes something appears to be clean and *~elegant~* but the real best method is the "naive" approach. I encounter this a lot w/ toggles. If something switches between two states I have the impulse to always go state=!state, but sometimes it's better to just do setOn() and setOff()

So much for railway metal btw lol apparently they are dependent on google cloud for some reason and GC has blocked their account. More reason for me to host DS on a raspberry pi in my own apartment (I would do this if I had the time in the day believ me (not on a raspberry pi tho (lol)))
