same, it's nowhere near as convoluted as the original graphic suggested

ran the format on the Eve show last week, banger by all accounts!

sorry to go all Statto but the numbers don't lie

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 17h

90 in 125 now for Kane, 20 in the last 21...for context with his England strike rate Lineker would have scored 75, Shearer 60, Owen 56, all prolific but there are levels and I still don't think we appreciate just how good this guy is...only Greaves would have scored more (96)

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 23h

yeah, I totally get that, and also the main character standing amongst the burning ashes and rubble with a voice over going 'so how did we get here...' has been done to death

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 23h

it's such a fun format, stage 1 elimination, stage 2 points...my hopes that they'll one day run a four-way 60 minute iron man/woman remains but this will go a long way to giving me that kind of fix

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 23h

it just needed an explosion or a crime or something to pique my interest, but he gets his Bezos buck so fair play either way!

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

we started watching Riff Raff two nights ago, Bill Murray, Ed Harris, Jennifer Coolidge...stopped after about 12 minutes because absolutely nothing was going on...first time we've done that in a long while, but life is too short

120

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

just let him do Dredd 2 for the big bag innit!

020

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

totally, taking the axe to Football Focus, an extremely cheap show to make in the grand scheme of things, was weird - she made it her own

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

this was me watching Acts of Vengeance the other night; Antonio Banderas, Karl Urban, action, 87 minutes long, what could go wrong - well let me tell you I know a tax write-off when I see one, maybe 15 minutes of interesting shit padded out with Hallmark levels of Banderas looking deeply upset

130

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

it feels weird that they've ended up with more Bundesliga and Serie A than domestic women's coverage but I guess the WSL is just at that inflection point where the money from Sky was just too good to turn down - a good case for a shared sports rights platform between BBC/ITV/C4 imo

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

this - even when they were all in on it they should have had the Sunday MoTD with the men's and women's matches together imo, normalise it, the same way Football Focus (RIP) just discussed all of it under the single banner

100

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

two years away from the 70th anniversary of the first Carry On so I'm sure they'll do that quadrennial thing of threatening us with a new one

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

truth - 'tell me my dear, are they always like this?' is my favourite Ramsay line, they always spill when he asks

100

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

(1) The Conglomeration (2) The Squares; boffin like university graduates in tank tops and shirt sleeve shirts, neat hair and the like, all promos very nerdy, one stoner mate who's a bit wild but they tolerate them, and can all absolutely go in the ring of course

100

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

midcard Four-Way Championship; four way elimination matches every week (very Collision coded!) 3 points for the winner, 2 for second, 1 for third, 0 for fourth, have a league table, title decided/defended by the top four each PPV, thank you

140

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

our Carly is at the explore outdoors and hide away during the day, lie awkwardly on your arm until it's dead during the night phase, we've never known one like her

020

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

yeah, saw the brief bit parts discourse the other day and it's hard to disagree...there's so much from the last decade or so where some scenes feel, for want of a better word, emptier

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

adjacent to this had a can of 7up yesterday and absolutely hate myself now lol

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I think there's merit in it taking a touch too long to get to where it does, but I too was so into the whole thing

120

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I love this but Revenge is next level if you haven't already seen it, and Fargeat's bit of having horrible men eating ugly is such a great director's motif, right up there with John Glen's use of the white dove

130

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

The Split Up is kind of Footballers Wives but middle class lawyers with a better taste in furnishings and clothing

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

oh no, perfect kind of thing for him...there'll definitely be a DCF guy, so right now I'd stick Wardlow in, next entrant after an unsuspecting MJF

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

played a full 90 minute 6-a-side so having a full fat 7up as a little treat and this stuff does not taste like it used to, pure filth

130

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

eliminations stage and points stage; this will be chaotic and the 33 minutes will fly by and I can't wait 🤼‍♂️

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Bellingham is the near complete player, would walk into any of the England squads I've seen in last 35 years...his captain era is going to be immense

020

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

it's far better than it had any right to be, and something for everyone, adults and kids alike

021

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

they dream of some sort of Singapore but never want to talk about the housing policies deployed over there

070

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

it was an indie wrestler afaik, saw him post the link on Insta while scrolling - but thank you for posting anyway, I finally had the words 🙏

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

as far as I can tell the version of capitalism this silly island has pursued is doing exactly what it was designed to do, keeping the wealthiest few at the top of the pile with some scraps thrown for the masses every now and then

170

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

fewer couples and more of the good stuff like the instant dance challenge and the dance-a-thon would save it

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I love the start (I love all of it obvs) where whichever character you choose of the three is like, 'I'll check this place out on my own despite two of you being here...' and they're like, 'sure...' which is a classic horror trope

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

when he returns Buddy will want no part of the Brodido bromance, that could be a jumping in point for something that could go beyond just that group...been laid up injured, his friend has new friends, the landscape has changed, it's all there

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

an iconic tribute, there's most certainly others who can do it and maybe one day will (🫡) but for that night this was the right call

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

fair, the '5 tool player' should have been dropped far sooner than it was...as for Max I don't know, those running away from the venue bits were great, something different

020

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I get that...it's a shame because they're both talented enough

100

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I thought Bowens had the goods to go singles long term but I guess not - banging presentation imo but just got lost in the shuffle I guess

210

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

perhaps...for me it's the whole having to know absolutely everything that's gone before to get what's going on, which is a very TV thing, like Ant-Man was fun because I didn't have to know shit

010

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

we've got a friend who's a big original comic guy and he loves the quirkier TV shows but doesn't seem so fussed about the later films, this feels pretty damming when the films should be the real big deal for that kind of fan

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

iirc Tom Cruise had a private screening and insisted it was given a US release...I don't mind it but it's very of its time

000

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I've still not seen the finger click one but I know all I need to in case it comes up in a quiz or something...someone there must so regret doing that whole big presentation of the 'phases'

110

David Snow @davidsnow.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

it's going to be bad isn't it, like terminal for the franchise
