This is a good change; I like it a lot. I used the Skyborne with SD earlier, and they do stand out. This is great for those wanting to play in a more classic-looking world. www.hotspawn.com/world-of-war...

That's some talent to make that much OG music. I thought a legit Beatles track got thrown in during one of the trailers.

The @method.gg WoW Forever books guide is now "done", It's taken a fair few days to verify all the locations, and the team has done a lovely job with the found tags. For those joining at the live release, this is a great little quest to do. www.method.gg/wow-forever/...

He's some kid, like. Really do feel like Miley playing higher or at RB is the key. He has something about him near the box; he picked out a lovely ball today for Thiaw.

So good to play @valheimgame.bsky.social after all this time again now it's in 1.0, so proud of local developers. But can we please add crafting from boxes...

Is that FPS show as well? (Also Sep 3)

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

100%, and his pull is showing. 24 hours or so left... maybe more to come, but it's an exciting time.

Really does feel like (and I hate to say it) but Howe leaving has changed our season. This #nufc window shift since Jaissle joined is crazy. Nico was clearly swayed by him, and Pardo seems to be the same.

This is truly some game btw - I have spent so many hours just fucking about with my little towns.

My week helping out over at nufcblog.co.uk has come to an end; 35 articles is some going 😅. I'll still kick off a few opinion articles from time to time, but if anyone needs an #NUFC news writer, do let me know.

I used to work in a pawnshop, was so nice seeing the watches come in and the value 😱

010

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

haha, I really need to get myself a watch again. Been looking for a good value skeleton watch. I just find them so weirdly cool to look at.

It's alright, as a nice bit of memorabilia; I do like it - I love an automatic. So hard to have a "tick" once you get used to that smooth sweep.

#nufc release limited edition watch. I kind of like it; I feel like it's a hefty fee for a quartz movement watch, mind. www.newcastleunited.com/en/limited-e...

My understanding is that's how he wants to play with full backs. Probably why Hall and Tino are such good players for his system.

000

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Just spend whatever it takes on a 10. Willock is showing what a natural player in that position can do; now we just need the quality to match it.

010

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Do you have a TLDR of why? I'm not sure I have ever really watched him play.

101

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I guess look at all the subs. Miley coming off is obvious; Mason is the same with his cramp. So Woltemade stands out. They might also just want to see Neave some more before deciding what to do with him

000

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Jaissle is going one down on purpose so he can test the lads at coming from behind.

I can see 🫣 I'll report back at some point in the future when I can be dragged away from work or CS2 😅

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Decided to grab @ledgerbound.bsky.social, I can't help but be charmed when an indie game has that much voice acting talent. I'm not sure the game is aimed at me... but it looks cool.

110

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

"You all see the matches; you're smart enough to see the needs in the squad. We handle these things internally." Jaissle is not stupid, and he knows as we do that the #nufc squad needs help. We just have to trust them to do it now.

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Can you ask the club to turn the official stream on please

Much better this, Wissa looks like we had hoped after the WC

020

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Yeah, maybe Horni and Harris tonight, Pope and Ewen Wednesday

010

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I think this, or Harris plays for a bit, Ewen plays mid-week then they both play a full 90 each next weekend.

100

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Pivas at LB, new dawn is dawning. Shahar is about to become a world beater

010

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Where is Ewen? He's with the team (also no Pope)

010

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Honestly, that first 11 has already given me hope

@chrisdhwaugh.bsky.social Is a video of today's "presser" going to go out?

200

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Think those two are the only real options, fully embrace the youth of the squad. I can see it being Miley, to be honest

000

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

My biggest worry at #NUFC now is, who the hell captains that side. Anyone obvious like Burn, really shouldn't be starting for us. So, do we go Thiaw, Hall, Miley? Or do we sign a captain?

For any #nufc fans not on the other site, a fan posted an image of the new manager (x.com/charliewainy_)

Newcastle United new manager Mattias Jaissle seen in the lobby of "The Last Green" in La Manga, Spain.

060

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I still hope he does. I think we need him, but it will take fans some time to get over what he has done. Sure, he hasn't downed tools yet, but he has caused this.

000

David H @davidrholly.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I'd say unlikely? Only way is if the club holds firm, knowing Bruno won't actually refuse to play. A new manager might be able to convince him, but it feels like a done deal. The agent leaking feels like Arsenal's way to not pay too much.
