Today would have been mum's 86th birthday. But she left us too young at 76. This is the last picture of her and me, we'd been to see A Midsummer Nights Dream, we finished off at the Champagne Bar at St Pancras - living her best life.

For those no longer on X, my news of the day, week, month - no year (!) is that @sangitamyska.bsky.social and I have finally met. She is everything you'd expect and more. This friendship was forged in the strangest of circumstances, and I'm sure it will endure.

New addition to the Noble household. She's beautiful, she was abandoned with 8 other cats,2 of whom didn't survive, she's be in care for weeks as she has a minor medical issue requiring daily medication - but the moment she climbed into my arms she was coming home with us!
