I may just call this an exercise in effects drawing. I don't plan these very well. Lol.

A branch and some fall leaves with red, green, and brown tints.

You think you know what an animal looks like but they you try to draw it and realize it looks a lot more complex. #drawing #owl #wildlife

I've been cleaning up some old drawings.

A girl is in a city park giving a dog a treat. There's a city skyline over the treetops.

Much better attempt. I have to remember to keep a looser style when creating digital sketches. Or perhaps upload my second attempt and consider the first attempt practice. #drawing #sketch #horse

It's funny to me that EC Comics started publishing Vault of Horror in 1950 and this episode of Superman (The Evil Three) aired in 1953.

I have struggled to get human characters to look right using the digital art program I tend to use (Krita). Another example.

Fantasy drawing of a wizard and a warrior women in a corridor. Has a dungeons and dragons vibe. There are crows flying overhead. A spooky tree at the end of the corridor. The characters are holding torches and looking around.

Eh. I waste a lot of time fixing my digital drawings. You can see I copy and pasted my dragon and I'm in the process of erasing the twin. Doing sketches first is better.

This is a distraction but, I watched Beastmaster for the first time in ages and you know what strikes me is They found these places outside of Las Vegas and north of L.A. and had Marc Singer out there with real animals. It's kind of great. I'm not saying it's Citizen Kane but it was cool.

Marc Singer in Beastmaster, a barbarian character. He is near a cliff wielding a new sword.

😆 They look like when Freddy Krueger stretched out the wall over Nancy's bed. But they are the funny Muppet children.

Biden did good things and bad things, but he'll always be a big failure for not holding the chief insurrectionist accountable for his actions. We should not even have to honor the traitor's presidential pardons for the scum that attacked our capitol.
