I really hope Googlebooks can become more than just expensive Chromebooks. The blueprint is there, but software support has to follow next. If it does, I'll be one of the buyers putting money down.

Fair! We think a lot about this — I don't want to ignore AI, or talk shit about it all the time, neither of which is useful. I also don't want to, like, bow before the computer gods. We're just trying to figure out where AI is something, and where it's not. Hopefully over time we find that balance!
